Hi everybody,

I know it is not the best place to ask that kind of question, but what do you think about your bronco reliability?

Is received mine in two weeks.

I was supposed to buy a 4Runner 2025 but because it is almost the same as the Tacoma 2024 that I already have, I change my mind for the Bronco big bend with black package 2025 because of the look!

Hope I not going to regret, never drove a Bronco, it is to replace a Cherokee Trailhawk.

Mechanically - mine has been pretty solid. The IFS isn’t as stout as a solid front axle but it has a whole host of other benefits that go with it. The only engineering complaint I really have on the mechanic side are the frameless windows - they could have used a bit more thought.

The electronics and software are the achlllies heel. It isn’t totally non-drivable, but they are a lot less robust than I would like. Even simple things, like the radio, have quirks and issues. The Ford Software team is pretty bad, updates often break more things than they fix. And many issues boil down to some hardware module getting confused and just locking you out of things — often cleared with a reset, but that’s not always easy to do in a snow drift or a mud pit.

I’m not sorry I bought a Bronco, and I hope you aren’t either, but being real about it.

3 years, 30k miles. Mine has been great. A few early model year gremlins like the headlight switch, but that was easily fixed with a $60 part and 5 mins of my time. Occasional snyc bugs, but nothing a reset didn't fix. 2.3 and manual transmission has been flawless so far. Great MPG and engaging performance.

For what it's worth, I rented a 2025 4runner via Turo in Maui last month and its transmission grenaded while I had it. Only had 4k miles on it, and I was simply cruising on the highway.

As someone who only drove toyota/lexus products for the last 20 years, these new ones are a far cry from the golden era of toyota quality.

I have put nearly 11,000 miles on my 2.7 Badlands 4 door in 5 months. I have had no problems whatsoever. I truly enjoy driving it. My hand calculated mpg with all miles put on it since new is 18.6 mpg on 35's. The best late model 4x4 that I have owned.

Coming from a 2006 4Runner, which was a flawless car except for frame rot, get ready for a lot of recalls. Other than that, my 2021 Wildtrak has been great, but I definitely do not expect it to be as reliable as a Toyota product. I would highly suggest paying for an extended warrantee if you want to keep it a while. I will likely sell it by the time my 10-yr extended warrantee expires.

2022 Basesquatch 2 door, 2.7/Auto. Nearly 75K in 3 years. Replaced the steering rack at 33K. I can't say it failed, but it developed a knock when turning full lock to the right. Recently discovered that the front pinion seal is leaking. Otherwise, all good.

New manual transmission at 20K miles.
The MIC top is rattly hot garbage.
Recalls for rear shocks and backup cam.
I’d definitely buy it again though.

I got a new manual transmission at 8k miles, but I noticed the noise the first week I had it. I thought the clutch was just out of adjustment, so I didn't worry too much. It was replaced under warranty/TSB.

Mine has never let me down in over 3 years of ownership, but there have been a couple recalls and a TSB addressed. None of them were critical.

Some people have lots of problems. Luck of the draw I guess.

Toyota is putting out junk and coasting on past reputation, don't trust them more than any other brand right now.

I think my Bronco is on par with the majority of modern automobile quality. It's hit and miss. I haven't had any major issues in the 2.75 years and 18k miles I have owned mine. I have the common quirks that plague some other broncos, but mine has been great otherwise.
