Yes I own a BL and the only reason is so that I can fit 35s. Being that I already have the hoss suspension, i havent seen any good options for leveling kits. I would have to look into ford performance shocks.
I'm running 35s BFG TA KO 2 on SAS wheels, no lift and have 0 issues. We did a couple trails at Red River Gorge last weekend and had both droop and full stuff with no rub.

That's great to know. That's the exact setup I'll be running SAS wheels with 35s BFG KO2. Thats the only thing i was worried bout if they would rub. Guess not, I appreciate the feedback.

Got the front shocks and springs installed today. Brought the front up nicely. Havent had much time to ride around but Initial impressions are similar ride under normal conditions.

It ended up being a reasonable investment. I am about $1500 ($1200 parts and shipping, $300 shop) in with the shop doing the front install. Front Springs are short and stiff, even the shop commented when I dropped it off that they would be tough to compress. Can probably save a couple hundred if you can find the right sprung take off coil over set used but I am happy with how it turned out.

It's not a very noticeable difference.

Would it be more noticeable on a 4 door?

Hi Guys,

Newbie here, first post. My Bronco Base should be here any day now. It's crazy my mom has been with Ford for 40 years and still had to wait over a year lol. Anyways was looking for some answers if possible. I have a 2dr Base Bronco with the 2.7 and just picked up some sas bilstein off a badlands 4dr with a 2.7. Just wondering how much lift will I get and will I need to add a spacer kit up front to have it level. Any help much appreciated.

1.1” - you’ll likely level out since the Badlands is much heavier.

Thanks redone17 for the info. Do you recommend adding the spacer kit figuring I will be adding a front bumper?

I'm seeking the same. How is the ride quality on road (not off road) of the Bilstein take offs?

I think everyone who has done it, as well as all the people driving Badland and sasquatch models like the Bilsteins. Very little downside to them over the hitachis. Most people, myself included, only replace the Bilsteins to get more lift.

I'd wait on anything until you have them installed and see just how much lift you get. You will probably have less rake due to the lighter front end of the base, but I'd wait and see before doing anything else.

Since no one has posted a picture of the OBX with stock suspension and Badlands suspension side by side with the stock rims and tires, here is a picture which shows nicely the ride height difference between the two.

As you can see there is a significant difference between the two. It was more than I expected. These two Broncos are pretty similar factory builds the White Bronco is a 2023 2.7 advanced 4x4 with high package and the Charcoal Gray Bronco is a 2021 2.7 advanced 4x4 with the Lux package. Both are two door and both have the tow package.

Has anyone ordered the Badlands Bilsteins from Ford new? I've been wanting to get a takeoff set but haven't seen very many for sale lately the past couple months in my area.
