We all know there will be endless comparisons between these two vehicles. My question to the Bronco folks here: do you care?

Sure, I get it, we all want OUR thing to be the BEST thing, but does having .1 inches more ground clearance matter to you? Does .2 degrees of departure angle matter to you?

I like Wranglers. I always have. I've never bought one. I like Gladiators. I think they're cool. I'll never own one. When I saw the new Bronco, ahhhh, it got me. It got me for a number of reasons, but none of those reasons have to do with it being "better" than the Wrangler.

In the future, whatever current advantages the new Bronco has over the Wrangler will most likely be eliminated, and these two vehicles will pretty much be the same vehicle and the differences will, I assume, be minor or just aesthetic. In that moment, will the .1s, and .2s matter to you? Can you be swayed with an advantage here or there?
I actually hate chrysler and wranglers so not too tough of a choice for me.

While I certainly lean heavy towards Bronco, I have no qualms with Jeep. I do poke fun at them at times but its all in good fun (same with Mustang/Camaro, Raptor/TRX, and on and on). End of the day competition is good for the consumer! Not to go off topic but I'm very excited to see space travel going commercialized. It creates competition which I truly believe benefits everyone. One day we will have a Bronco Moon Edition that our kids (or grand kids) can drive on the moon while visiting their vacation rental! ?

It matters to me. When the build and Price tool comes out I will be looking at exactly what I'm able to get for my money.

With Wranglers and Gladiators you can actually negotiate deals well below MSRP and there are incentives on interest rates.

It's worth doing a comparison to make sure you're not buying a less capable and lesser equipped bronco just to have the "new thing."

Two years from now, broncos will be everywhere just like Wranglers.

We bought a travel trailer this weekend so I had to go with something besides the Bronco. The Gladiator was the only other vehicle I would want. Fortunately it has a killer tow rating. So we got one. My wife said to hold onto the Bronco reservation though... not sure if she is debating getting one herself now? That would be awesome.

Gladiator is still pretty rare in Ontario Canada. I probably have not seen more than about 10 on the road.

Thanks! I will for sure. The best part is, I really think my wife is going to get a Bronco. Maybe not this year, but within the next few. So I wont have FOMO.

I like the look of the Jeep....but realistically what main concerns I have about the jeep are the solid axle and stearing gearbox death wobble being a constant issue and never even fixed after ALL this time. I want the IFS for a better road ride.....I won't get crazy off road and this should fit my "needs" better than the jeep. The 2dr should have a little extra room for stuff. I may end up removing the back seats and make a lockable box back there for stuff. MY ONLY issue is with the auto tranny with the V6 plus the auto shutoff..which I hope can be dissabled.

I have had both Jeeps and Broncos and wheeled in and with both in various settings. I liked my LJ when I lived in GA. Living in MI changed my opinion. Even returning to all terrain 31x10.50 from 32x11.50, in an attempt to keep the Jeep, the steering and ride were beyond bad. Tire wear was terrible. The interior was small and uncomfortable for anything longer than a couple of hours. The motor was decent (4.0l I6) 6 speed was good. Overall the the compromise for durability and off road function was not worth the trade off. I have test driven and read reviews on the newest version and it appears little has changed. My hope is the Bronco is just that one step better in ride, handling and comfort that makes the Bronco an “all a rounder” for me . Things like hunting, over landing, some moderate trails, winter snow runs, tow the toys to the lake or trail and top down fun on the dunes.

I think the comparison should be with Blazer, FJ, and Defender. Wtf were they thinking! Jeeps are great. Broncos clearly used them as a guide on what to offer and how to market.

I’ve owned a Jeep most all of the last 40 years. I have several now. I love them......I may not be able to sell them to fund a new Bronco. If not I’ll keep them and have a loan. I may sell the 2001 Cherokee sport and keep the 1990 Comanche shortbed. The Bronco is something I have been patiently waiting on for years now. I was worried it would be an explorer in disguise, but I think they hit a grand slam. People like what they like. My problem is I like them all. My wife thinks I’m crazy. State Farm loves me.

I'm in the "competition will make both better" camp. I was looking at low mileage TJ Rubicons with the manual. Turns out those are Unicorns. Glad the Bronco came along and grabbed me the way it did.

I think the bronco will be a better, for sure. You can’t beat the IFS for everyday driving. I may consider the bronco truck when it comes out. Depending on towing and how well the gladiator does over the next two years. So far it’s very enjoyable to drive. And I just got a thing for the gladiator, like I do for the bronco. I just off road vehicles.
