I’m sure this has been more frustrating for you than us, but any progress?
You're not wrong. Still working on the best option that balances, cost, fabrication time, ease of installation, functionality, and style.

I have a bull bar from Barricade. It works with my capable bumper. Easy install. This is the best picture I have at the moment.
Bull bar.jpg
Looks solid.
1) Send a link of that
2) Was there anything unique that was required during install? I am looking for an easy solution for my capable bumper

Honestly the best option I've seen (and the one that I really want) is the basic bull bar style that is posted up earlier in the thread that's a Jeep part. The big issue with the Capable bumper is that there's no pre-drilled placement for anything so no matter what something will have to be drilled to be bolted on unless you go with something like the Barricade above which to me is a push bar not a bull/baja bar.

If you could create something like the Jeep one that some have been using on the Capable but with mounts sculpted for the shape of the Capable, with good mounting plates underneath and gives plenty of clearance away from the grille (in case you actually hit something) I wouldn't mind drilling into the Capable bumper and I'd buy it from you today!

Is it made for the capable bumper? Looks like for default. Did you have to drill any custom holes or anything like that?
No holes to drill. I have the capable on my Bronco. It does interfere with the tow rings and the parking sensors though.

I assume there is a way to turn off the front parking sensors, right? How about the camera? Did it affect the front camera visibility at all?

Yep... The TAC works with the plastic bumper too... Also found a sensor relocation kit that worked.

I run it without the headlamp guards. I know it's not the baja style, but fits my needs for now.

I really like the way that looks without the lamp guards. May take mine off now. 🤔 Great idea with the sensor relo kit. I don't have front sensors but I know that's a concern for many. Nice job!

That looks a lot better without the headlight guards, IMO. Nice to see they just bolt on/off and aren’t welded on.

Yes the sensors can be disabled with the touchscreen, I don't remember where. It blocks the camera a little bit but it is still useful.

It’s next on our list to finish because we are getting ready to remove our capable bumper and need to get it finished first.

What Light Bar are you thinking for the mounts? I'm thinking BD S8:)
