Just start answering your random SPAM calls, and ask them if you have a VIN yet.
DAMN, THAT WAS FUNNY! I nearly busted a gut!!!! 😆 🤣 😂
Sigh
I might actually start doing that.

There have been absolutely zero VINs issued for Broncos of any kind in the last 10 days.
I don’t doubt this. I’m super curious how you can determine this.

Happy for all those that placed orders later and got builds, no matter if placed after mine. Following is for @Ford Motor Company, not you. :))

@Ford Motor Company Read this post. Orders placed late 2021 and even 2022 are getting builds and delivery before reservation holders from 2020. You need to prioritize those that supported you in "the olden days". I've been told I wont get my Bronco for another 14 months. That will put me 3 YEARS AFTER RESERVATION. Unbelievable to me that you can't get this sorted and Broncos in hands of those that reserved in 2020, while delivering to others without reservation or with later reservation. Fix your house Ford!

Called ford yesterday to chat about my order. #1 just to make sure it was still in there, and #2 to try to find some kind of answer as to when they think I might be getting a VIN/build date.

Keep in mind, I'm not a reservation holder. I placed a 2022 order in early November 2021. One of the 1st 5 orders for 2022s at the dealership I like to work with about a 90 minute drive from home.

I have a 22 race red badlands with every option but leather (lux, towing, hard top, etc) so pretty much every restrained item from the past.

The extremely nice gal from Ford said she had seen a ton (like thousands) of vins be issued in the last 7-10 days for vehicles very similarly spec'd as mine with those constrained items. Essentially all fully loaded broncos. It sounds like it's only a matter of time here (possibly weeks not months) before I get a VIN and build date. So we'll see...

Might have all been hot air, but figured I'd pass it along for those still painfully waiting. I'm only 5 months in here lol.
FWIW, I was a late reservation holder, probably insignificant (7/21), and ordered 10/21. My blend date was today. Spec'd with all the goodies except Tow and Squatch. So, her optimism is likely warranted.

I appreciate you sharing your conversation. I am in your camp of optimism. I am grateful for the kind representatives I have spoken with at Ford.

Well - the last nice gal I spoke with about my previous Badlands-2dr MIC-2.7-squatch-high-tow order told me no way it gets scheduled in 2022 with the tow package, even with a 7/14/20 reservation and #5 in line at my dealer. This while about a third of Broncos scheduling seem to be getting tow packages.

Since then I won a golden ticket and converted to a Raptor and received a VIN.

Sorry to burst your bubble, BUT my point is the nice people on the Ford line know very little and change their story / opinion seemingly caller to caller.
I know a guy with 4 on order
All over the country
He called the 1-800 number and the guy on the phone said all 4 were being built

not one has been yet…. Sooo idk

aren't most of those built and sitting in the holding lots though waiting for chips? that doesn't really affect the 2022 orders with no vin. they can slap those modules in and get them out the door pretty quick one would think.
No. Plenty of July 2020 reservation holders (myself included) that haven't yet gotten a build date.

Why would she make that up? What does she have to gain?
Your right, even though there hasn't been any scheduling for weeks she probably has super secret scheduling access and it just so happens that all those being scheduled are just like the OP's loaded and constrained build. A festival miracle or Occam's razor?

I don’t doubt this. I’m super curious how you can determine this.
Because per Ford there was no scheduling last week or this week. No scheduling equals no VIN

Unfortunately not even close. When you consider that the vast majority of reservations were made 7/13-7/20/20 and there were 150,000 res by 7/30/20 and they've pumped out how many total now? Not very many in comparison, and a huge number of those have gone to folks without reservations at all lol. I do realize that not all reservations got converted to orders, but the majority did.
They have built 91,000 total ‘21 and ‘22’s. By my estimation they have 87,000 to go

I have said this before and will say it again. The issue is FoMoCo failed to understand that in the past they have rewarded their customers (Independant Ford Dealers) by giving them preference. When FoMoCo moved to taking reservations the preference should have been given to the reservation holder not the dealers that they chose to use. FoMoCo brought this dissatisfaction on themselves because they are attempting to make both the dealers and reservation holder happy and the reservation holder drew the short straw. FoMoCo should abandon reservations or change the model so new vehicle releases with reservations are satisfied before dealer orders are, otherwise reservations are less than useless. You are welcome for this free analysis Mr. Farley. As a Ford fan I hope that they learn from there mistakes.
