It's odd that it's a known issue at Ford and instead of fixing the root cause, they are shipping cars out at a known defect rate that appears to be high. Maybe because it isn't known to be an immediate safety hazard they don't see a lot of liability and therefore no recalls?
It's not a new issue, it's been around for years (pre-Bronco). That should be a clue it's not killing people, and it's difficult to fix. Ford isn't dumb on this issue, just confounding.

If anyone gets a message like this don't respond. Complete wastes of time. At the end of the day your dealership is the only hope to getting issues resolved. Don't know how Ford can talk about selling direct when their support is so painfully bad.
Yeup. You’ll just get a private message. Then they’ll ask you for some info name, phone number, Etc. Then ask you for your VIN number.
Then someone will email you and after a few questions, come out simply tell you to take it into a local dealership to have it looked at.

No responses after that if you have any further questions for them.

This is very disturbing! I have a 23 WT with 2.7 as well. Nothing yet but will it happen to my bronco and when.
