I tried the

Digging the Front Runners with dual carry bag which makes it another piece in the Tetris storage game.

Best to try the Front Runners before buying them. They don't give full support. Your butt hangs out over the back unless you slouch.

So this has been a very timely and helpful thread, resulting in me restarting a chair search I had begun a few months ago. Following up with some of the posted items here I, of course, began exploring the inevitable internet rabbit holes. We already have those ubiquitous fold-up four-post into a bag sling-style chairs that everyone has; they're fine for walking down to the outdoor concerts and whatnot for a couple hours vs sitting on the grass but obviously leave a lot lacking. I came across an item that promised better back support (wife has back conditions + sciatica) which then led me to more and I happened upon this. Yeah, they aren't $1/ea beach chairs but these days if I get that low into a chair I'm going to need to be winched out of it.

Anyway, these look good on (internet) paper, wonder if anyone has experience with this brand. Will be following to see if any Memorial Day sales pop up but right now a pair of these is at the top of my list.

Looking for recommendations for camping chairs to keep in the bronco. Would like to keep three either under the back seat (I never put it down) or attached to a molle panel. Any recommendations?

REI return policy is like Costco for camping

7" x 33" packed up, ours are about 10 years old and still going strong. Not light at 15 lbs but hold 300 lbs if you happen to share your seat with a friend

Yeah this was my ideal but didn't want to spend that much right now on three. If my current chairs fail and I use them a lot I'll most likely upgrade to Helinox.
