Can you sell a Bronco you just bought before title comes?

I got 2 Broncos and want to sell the second one which will deliver in a few days. Upon paying the dealership, it takes a month to receive the title from DMV. Can I sell the Bronco with just the temporary permit I get from the dealer or do I need to receive the title first?

I agree with not asking, but I can’t fault someone for trying to flip for a profit. I wouldn’t sell mine for less than $25K over what I paid.

Probably also depends on the buyer's financing (if they're doing a loan). The bank will want to put a lean on the vehicle, and if they're not the originator, it might put a delay on things. If it's a cash transaction, it's much easier.

I agree with not asking, but I can’t fault someone for trying to flip for a profit. I wouldn’t sell mine for less than $25K over what I paid.

Yet many websites say it’s legal to sell the vehicle the same day you bought it at the dealer.

It's a pickle. Sorry to rag on you, I hope you find the info you need.

If you're going to sell it, why don't you just talk to the dealer and see if they'll buy it from you? Meaning you asked them to cut you a check for say 5k And you walk or you go through with the purchase and then wait for the title to come.

By the time you pay taxes, and registration, you'll come out ahead if it is right you a check and you never even transfer it into your name.

Hell maybe even some in-store credit or accessories for the first Broncos.
