Changing your own oil?

I use carfax to upload my receipts and track dates and mileage of maintenance. My wife's car came with complimentary maintenance for the first 3 years but it's basically the bare minimum 7500 mile conventional oil changes. I'm using full synthetic every 5,000. By my book I'm taking better care of the car than the manufacturer even requires. It would be hard for me to believe they could deny a warranty claim for that. Especially if I have all the proof that work was performed.
