If Ford pulls my chain and it does not work out I will just step away. However, I feel pretty confident with my contacts and skills I will at least get a military discount off of MSRP according to my local dealer. Remember not to be too hungry / vulnerable as there are too many cool rigs out there.

I personally would never pay an ADM- let's keep it real this isn't a GT500 anyway- it's just so dumb. i have to believe you can find a dealer who won't do that- there's a whole thread dedicated to it.

Our group has been all over dealers up here in the north east.
We've seen 2 @ invoice, 1 @ $500 below MSRP, and hundreds saying MSRP. I would say any dealer asking OVER MSRP, needs to be written off immediately. Like others have said, it's not a specialty vehicle. It's a Bronco. You should have no issues finding MSRP at the least. Good luck.

/laughs in Stephens Auto Center.

I switched as soon as xplan was a no go. There are enough good dealers around if you do a little legwork. I did hate walking away from my local dealer as I spent a long time chatting with my salesman about off topic stuff and we are pretty much separated twins but the switch has allowed me to move up a trim model at the same price with only a mild inconvenience.

Pretty much the same boat. My local dealer was a guy I've known for a while, but he laughed at me when I brought up thr Stephens and Granger deals. I just happen to live a reasonable distance away from Stephens. So, I switched and went up a trim level.

I wanted to stick local, buy it just wasn't in the cards.

If I didn’t have to pay an ADM for my Raptor in 2017 I sure as hell ain’t paying an ADM for a bronco. You have to do the legwork.

I visited my local dealer today to discuss pricing since I have been given very little information from the dealer that holds my reservation. I actually have my reservation with another dealer but I was considering moving to the local dealer. I was told that their sales model was to add $3000.00 above MSRP and that there will be no discounts. The salesman also told me that I could expect 3 to 5 thousand dollars above MSRP to be the norm at most dealers. I have purchased cars from this salesman before and he is a reputable person. I knew that was a possibility but I was still surprised. Has anyone else been told something similar.
Ernest McCarty in Alabaster, Alabama. My contact stressed there will be no markup above MSRP just last week. Got the email, so, your guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about.

Well, if that happens, Ford will be without one customer at least! I think there are many people on the fence as it is already...given that we may not get to test drive it and various shortfalls on the rush to get the Bronco out the door (like MIC hardtop, ugly seat colors for certain models, etc.). Anything above MSRP would be the icing on the cake for me.

Scam sales model. Don't fall for it. It's already overpriced as it is and Ford is not offering any kind of rebates or incentives for the first year. So, anyone paying over MSRP has money to blow. I have always bought my cars at or below invoice, never even MSRP.

There's only one reason that dealers are charging over MSRP. That reason is...because they can. For every person who will not pay ADM, the dealer will have 2 buyers that will.

I would never pay over MSRP. There are simply too many other dealers who are charging MSRP or lower. Just gotta do your research. Honestly, based on everything I have seen, Granger is your safest bet if your local dealer is charging ADM.

IMO. If they were reputable they wouldn’t be charging you above MSRP. I refuse to do it. If I have to wait 5 years for a Bronco, so be it. It would gnaw at my soul driving around in a car that I knew I had to pay a 3k bribe to get them to order. Tell them the price you are willing to pay and if they don’t meet it, they lose this sale, all future sales from you and they allocation they would get from this sale. There are already tons of dealers on here that have confirmed at or below MSRP

My local dealer says $500 over invoice. I could get $1,000 or even $2,000 under invoice but I'd have to arrange transportation to get there, so it works out about the same as my local dealer. An added plus is that I can expect good service locally.
