basically did and they came back with the $7500 instead of $10,000

I think I’ll just order and wait a year or two so I can start saving up

really don’t want a massive car payment

I'm in the "or 2" now. Could go into the "or 3 or 4." I think that makes sense though unless you really want something now.

Yeah, I'd LOVE to have something now. But do I really NEED it? No, absolutely not.

61k for a plain Jane Wildtrak is nuts.

If you're going to keep it forever, fine, if that's what you want. Otherwise, you're just buying time... like you said.

Now that Hoss 3.0 is standard in the Wildtrak ...you will want that so why jump in now. In 2023 you can get that and get it cheaper. It is worth the wait.

I was thinking only $7500 over? Then I realized it doesn't even have the high package

Hell no!! Terrible idea to pay over MSRP for a base WT.

Wait for the HOSS 3.0, you won’t regret it!

The more people that are simply patient and refuse to pay the ADM, the faster it will go away. People talk of insane inflation, but we have massive corporate profits, this should be called greed-flation.
never will go away. Capitalism will never go away. Thankfully.

100% agree. 2023s are already on the streets, why buy a year old vehicle that doesn't have the now standard HOSS 3.0?
The one posted is mechanically identical to the BaseSquatch I ordered.
Shots fired! But I have to agree. I still to this day don't understand why someone would go with a loaded wildtrak without HOSS 3.0 over a loaded badlands. the trim literally made no sense to me. Just load up an outerbanks and save thousands. Then Ford released the HOSS 3.0 and it made a ton of sense that it was probably what they planned all along before supply chain issues. I feel bad for 2022 WT non-HOSS 3.0 owners but then again they have a vehicle :ROFLMAO:

I loved the look of the wildtrak but they removed the painted handles and door caps. I just got a WT grill and gloss black emblem. Added sport through forscan, a badlands hood decal and will paint my rings soon. Then bam, wildtrak but with a sta bar disconnect!

Keep after it. Get them down to 5K over MSRP which is reasonable to no longer have to wait.

When can OP order a 23? Who says he will get a shot? Might close before he even knows you could order one.

Oh I have a “pre-order” in with a high volume DFW dealer, so supposedly they will put the order in right away whenever the hell order banks open.

Dude, not sure how you took away that I wanted to end capitalism. I was just mentioning that supply and demand works, if we collectively stop paying the ADM, it will go away. That is capitalism. I've waited since the first day reservations opened, because I don't think that the ADM is something I'm willing to pay.

My April 2021 reservation is with the highest volume dealer in the PNW. No build date.
