How has this worked out for you?I'm using a Garmin mini and connected it to the auto-dimming mirror power with a dongar adapter. Highly recommend it, as it is easy to install and works perfectly when I start my bronco.

Has been working great, most of the time I forget it’s even there. I’ve used it a couple times to look back at some moments. Only thing the Garmin mini does not show speed. So you would have to go with one of their other cameras if that is important to you.How has this worked out for you?
And this shows you what's in back of you? The soft top obstructs the rear view mirror when do, as you know. This resolves that?Has been working great, most of the time I forget it’s even there. You would have to get a two way dash camera for that. My setup only shows me what’s in frontAnd this shows you what's in back of you? The soft top obstructs the rear view mirror when do, as you know. This resolves that?
Today was the first time with soft top fully down I am looking for a solution
I'm going to give this one a shot. Now just waiting for them to start shipping, which feels awfully familiar...Ring is now taking pre-orders for their carcam. 270 degree cams facing forward and aft. Plugs into your ODBII.

Two concerns I have and currently researching:
1) Not sure if it will mount up to my picatinny rail on the center of my dash.
2) it requires you snake a wire from your top center dash where your carcam is mounted (picatinny rail in my case) to your ODBII connector by your left knee....
I like the small size of this cam but also want to keep the dash clear of wires and clutter...
If you are familiar with Ring, all the live motion and notification alerts are free, but they have an option of capturing the videos in cloud storage for $3 to $5/mo.
