Well I was a day one reservation holder. The dealer said I was allocation 6 of over 200 allocations. So who knows. I did ask him about the offer. He said Ford ran out of these funds and not everyone got them. I’ll take it. I certainly wasn’t expecting anything. I have heard it’s scary drilling the holes for the folding table.

Make or buy a drill stop when drilling holes

Mine came with a bit and a stop, worked great.
Yup, USE IT.
Quadruple measure everything before drilling and in between drilling each hole.
Even with the drill stop, it helps to use a center punch first to keep the bit from wandering at the beginning of making the hole.

Class act from your dealer. Other than my bronco, the only thing I received from my dealer was an attempt to tack on bullshit Covid fees……

I use the term generically. There are posts of people paying thousands for mandatory ceramic coating. Mine was only 399 for an “optional” security package where they will replace a lost key fob for free for 1 year. They said I had to purchase it even tho line item has it listed as optional. I told them I’ve never lost a key since I started driving over 30 years ago. It escalated from their finance guy to gm and finally to owner and then they finally removed it. Its nice to see there are dealers that still provide excellent service and in some cases going above and beyond to earn your business like tomball.

Oh ok, I get it! I don’t get why dealers are making it difficult for people to get this car. I get there’s all this hype but still, just seems unethical what some dealers are trying to do. Where’s the moral compass? Glad you got it straightened out!

So you are sent a legal document to sign without knowing what it is about other than the term a "gift" is for you?

I hope you read the fine print. Ford has been "gifting" me for 704 days without a Bronco.

... because I just had to see these two GIFs next to each other. That's all. 🤷‍♂️

I live in WA state now, but I grew up in the Klein/Tomball area before I joined the Army. Drove my first mannequin (Race Red Wildtrak) at Tomball Ford on a visit last year. Super nice staff.

... and I was SHOCKED to see that huge lot almost empty. 😳

That’s pretty awesome. My dealer won’t even give me a phone call.

I'm going to assume that since my dealer never contacts me, all I get is a big bag of nothing.
