So my dealer who did not charge any ADM on the Bronco (MSRP for all) just told me they are getting a few allocations for the Bronco Raptor and will charge all of them 30K over. Also said will be a different reservation system.
Could be true or not, just sharing what they told me.

It is time for the stealership business model to die.
As long as idiots are willing to pay that much over MSRP, it's hardly the dealership's fault.

Reminds me of the crazy housing market this year....people offering $100,000 over listing to compete with others

Maybe Ford should just price them higher to start

Supply and demand. Ford allows this to happen and people continue to pay these stupid prices... until either of those things change, this will continue or get worse...

Not really putting the fault on individual stealerships, but rather the business model itself.

Ford should just sell them at $100k and let them get the profits instead of the dealers.
The dealer would in turn mark it up to 130k…still MSRP + ADM.

If a dealer says they will screw people over on the price. I'd fully believe them on it.

At least they're being up front about it? The Raptors generally get a big markup because they're truly a limited edition car, at least people won't put in an order expecting MSRP and be surprised with it later one.
Up front about this $30K ADM, will probably hit the order holder with an additional $20K ADM when they pick it up after waiting 18 months.

It's clearly a missed pricing opportunity by Ford (which hurts shareholders) when a mark up of $30k is effective with the middle man. Price the things higher to start. Not complicated.
