One thing I have never seen addressed in these switches to big dealer posts is dealer allocations which if I understand correctly is based on market share and a few other factors. How do we know these dealerships are going to get enough allocation to cover the thousands of orders placed at their dealership. And along with that, how can they possibly process that sheer volume of vehicles along with their other regular business without sacrificing customer satisfaction?

This is a post I made in Tom's other thread. Anyone on the fence need not be. He is 100% legit. Completely transparent and super easy to deal with. Totally a stand up guy.

I won't say anything bad about him... but well.... he did sell you a Jeep 🤮

Sorry, I couldn't resist 😁

Why don't we draw a line at the Mississippi River and divide evenly from there? 🤣

We wish them the best! We'll take care of the Midwest, and we need a Dealership out West to step up.
Wait a minute now Zach @Zach@Granger, I've already got our road trip planned from North Carolina to Granger Ford, and further west. This would throw me into a rabbit hole I couldn't claw my way out of. I think I smell burning toast.....why does my left arm hurt? Oh my.......;) :)

Tom, Zach
I’m north Detroit
Both of you are about 9-10 hour drive away
East or west
So where do I go!
Your profile indicates that you are targeting the Base model. Zach's offer is a flat $2K below invoice. Tom's offer is 4% below invoice. When comparing the savings on the Base model with Tom's offer, Zach's will save you more.

You would think a dealer in Michigan would be doing this deal where the all the Broncos are made.

1. No dealer will get enough allocation in MY21 to cover all of their orders.
2. Everyone who orders a Bronco will get one eventually.
3. What dealer do you work for?

(Assuming you aren't a dealer troll trying to talk people away from transferring, these points have been *heavily* discussed and debated on this forum over the past 9 months. It's not anything we're worried about here.)

Got an early 2nd day, I would have had MY21 but chose to let the dust settle and wait for the MY22 improvements especially the Heritage and new colors.

Sorry but can't see go to the back of the line even for 4%. I'm patient and cheap but not that much patient and cheap.

Whoa there... absolutely not a dealer or a troll. I am simply looking at this from a logistics and allocation perspective. The 2 dealers askong people to switch to them are going to have hundreds, maybe thousands of customers with trailer load after trailer load of broncos arriving. How can they possibly offer the same level of service as a smaller dealership? How is Ford handling allocations to these mega dealers? A different formula?

Again, I am not a dealer, and the only skin I have in the game is wanting my Bronco yesterday. It seems like a reasonable concern... no?

They won’t all be rolling onto the lot on the same day... and as far as @DealerInsider goes, most of what I consider customer service has already been taken care of. I get the paperwork aspect of it, but that’s at the end of the deal... Toms mannerisms and extreme character are all the customer service I needed.

Edit: And the straightforward pricing... almost forgot that part... lol

Hmmm I already have 2 RSVP's one with Granger (October) and the other with Chapman (Day 3). Wife wants a new car, but the one she wants may not be available until late 2022 or 2023. I really don't want to my Bronco until closer to my wife getting her car. May cancel both and do them over on the 20th.
