DIODE DYNAMICS | Capable Bumper Fog Compatibility

So if anybody follows our FaceBook/IG Page you'll know we're developing our dual fog light kit for the Capable Bumpers. We're just finishing up some rough 3D printed prototypes (afterwards we get a set made from stainless steel to verify real world fitment, then into production).

While doing this, we decided to take some photos of the other Diode Dynamics lights on the Capable Bumper to verify fitment.

Long story short... the new Elite Series Fogs ARE compatible with the Capable Bumper. The SS3 Fog Kits ARE NOT compatible (well they WILL fit but you cannot adjust the pattern up/down, since the bezel rests against the plastic)

So hopefully that answers some questions regarding fitment.

SS3 FOG KIT = SORT OF FITS

For now, if you need aftermarket fogs I'd recommend the Elite Series. Our dual fog kit IS in the works. Here is a sneak peak of the prototyping phase (as yuo can see we need to align it better and we have some work we're doing on the back part of it). But sneak peaks are always fun!

I installed some SS3's into my capable bumper a few months ago. OP is correct that you can't adjust up/down because the bezel rests flush against the plastic surround.

After some trial and error, I put some flat washers in front of the lower mounting points, which causes the SS3's to aim downwards. Not elegant, but it works for now until a more professional solution comes up.
