In AZ, and yes it makes a huge difference. I had mine tinted before I drove it off the lot. (dealer's price on ceramic was about $100 less than the independent shops.) Did max legal on the sides (35%) and took the rears down to 20%.
What brand/product of ceramic did your dealer have installed?

My stepbrother installs it and swears by it. Specifically he has it on his truck's windshield which he says helps alot (it's clear). My brother has it and swears by it too. Nanoceramic variant? I'm skeptical, but haven't rode with them enough to tell.

Well, I think it's clear. It might have a light tint on it. I know he was telling me it's not legal in Texas but it is very hard to tell (as we looked at it).
I have it on mine - not sure if I see a difference but got a rock to the windshield (1/2 inch) and I believe that is keeping it from replacing it fully. So I think it’s a win win.

Absolutely. I had 70% on my windshield, but decided to favor night drive visibility over cooling when I replaced the windshield. My from windows got 50% and the rear 3 got 10%. Best investment if you live in a sunny climate (SoCal here).
