If you get the fpp tune for bronco it also keeps auto start/stop off when it's turned off when bronco is shut down

My Bimmer has auto-park in addition to auto-stop which means you can stop at those annoying 5 minute red lights - or teh drive-through fastfood, bank, brewthrough AND just take your feet off the pedals. In the X4 the startup after stop is tied to the go pedal, not as Ford insanely designed, releasing the stop pedal. I actually see very little lag in the Bimmer.I have it on my Bimmer. I try to leave it on and get used to it. That lasts like 10 minutes at best. Luckily my BMW has a button next to the start button you can press each time AND it remembers. So if it's set to off, the next time I start it up and drive, it will stay off without having to push the button again (Thank you BMW).
Good thing you didn’t search for a Bronco ASS plugHey, let's keep it clean in here! I just googles 'ass plug'...results were not pretty....
This exactly. Just ease off the brake a tiny little bit before the light starts to turn and the engine is running again. It's a great feature. I personally think it should be more aggressive, like when I'm in a drive through, it will shut down the first time I stop but it won't keep shutting down.I have no problem with the auto stop feature as implemented (with my 2.3 auto drivetrain).
I wait at a light, and it decides whether to shut off engine.
I ease up on brake when I want to wake it up, so I'm ready to go when the time arrives.
It saves gas.
On a BMW you can just code it out with Bimmercode or myCarly. you can also unlock a bunch of other features.I have it on my Bimmer. I try to leave it on and get used to it. My new Tacoma doesn’t have it either and it remembers every setting that you set so you don’t have to keep doing itmy exes k5 doesnt have A.S.S., brand new awd model too
color me shocked
Yeah, I've never turned AS/S off. I barely notice it as a feature, but good to know if I do turn it off. Maybe it just works better with the added millisecond of pressing the clutch and shifting into 1st. Aside from hybrids, the only cars I've owned that had AS/S have been manuals.Auto restart on stall and AS/S are separate features. If you have AS/S off, and stall, punching the clutch should still restart.
Although, there is very little reason to bother to turn it off in the manual. I only turn it off when I am at the drive-up ATM.
Oh haha. I see I wasn’t the first to take it there.Woah woah woah. How did we go from broncos to butt plugs!?!?!
