Update on the double honk. It still does do it when I close the door. I could have sworn that I tested that the other day. I guess this goes forscan bin 😬
No worries, AZ Mike. Today turned into an exciting day for many of us wishing for that dreaded honk, honk, honk to disappear without messing with Forscan. You may want to change the title of this thread to reflect a singular hack/setting--the seatbelt chime disabler. (y) Your beers will still be free (at home).

Hack to remove all chime warnings:

1) Turn ignition on and off 5 times within 30 seconds, be sure the AC is NOT on.
2) Turn on ignition a 6th time with front seat belt buckled, and let idle for 20 seconds or so.
3) Using key fob, push ALL buttons simultaneously for 20 seconds.
4) Turn off ignition.
5) Hold door unlock button down firmly for 10 minutes with hazard lights blinking.
6) Run around your Bronco 3 times singing "Yankee Doodle" as loud as possible.

Update: It doesn't work.

Hang on though... aren't all of our vehicles now basically smart phones? Can't we petition to Ford to software update this out of our Broncos??

Can you make the annoying "welcome" to Ford buling buling buling.... thing go away on start up? Can't stand that.
Still waiting for our Bronco. You description doesn't make sense to me. What word are you trying to say with "buling, buling, buling" ? Are you trying to say bullying? as in:

seek to harm, intimidate, or coerce (someone perceived as vulnerable).
"her 11- year-old son has been constantly bullied at school"

What does this message say, anyway? Where is the message located? Is it written down, or something audible or perhaps on a video somewhere?

Additionally, what's all this discussion about leaving the car running when you exit? I'm not getting that. Is that like going to 7-11 to quick buy something, so you run in and leave the car running? Who does that? Seems really odd to be doing that to me. Maybe if it was 50 below zero in Alaska, that might make sense. For other folks ?H

Let's see... reasons I've done this in the past:

- Hopping out to open the gate before driving through, then hopping back out to close the gate
- Checking trailer lights before driving off after connecting the trailer
- Pulling up, hopping out to check the mailbox before pulling the rest of the way into the driveway
- Getting out to assist at an accident scene or to assist a disabled motorist
- Realized after starting the vehicle that I'd left something in the house and running back inside to get it
- Running inside a restaurant to grab a to go order real quick while others wait in the vehicle
- Hopping out to remove an obstacle in the way on a trail
- Getting out to double check a line when "self spotting" off road

I could go on.

All these things you guys are talking about I was able to adjust in the settings. I sat in the dealer parking lot for probably 20 min playing with settings before I took off.

the missing key double honk warning you’re talking about can also be disabled in the settings

QQ - Is there a way to automatically lock the vehicle when off, key out of vehicle and out of proximity? My wife's car has this feature (i.e. turn off her car, step out, walk way, car locks).

I don't care about what I you "but when the door shuts" doubters and complainers say. This works for leaving the door open and the car running with the key in my pocket, and that was 95% of the issue with the double honk for me.

AZ Mike still gets a beer from me, but its got to be on draft....
