So am I the only one that absolutely loves how smooth the Bronco drives and shifts in Eco mode? I use it as my normal everyday mode and find that “normal” mode actually gets on my nerves for being too sensitive. When I want to pass someone or get crazy off road it’s just an easy switch up to sport mode. This 10 speed auto trans in Eco mode is the smoothest shifting vehicle I’ve owned.

My Eco mode is wonky. Can't figure out what gear it wants to be in, and honestly don't think it saves any MPG.
That's just me though.

I don’t mind Eco mode, but I wouldn’t come here to boast about it turning me on or anything.

Interesting. I have the 2.3L so I’m guessing there is a bit of a difference but I’d think the difference between normal and eco would be similar. In theory anyway.

Lol, maybe just change the name from eco to something cooler and it’d be fine ehh? Maybe “mellow” mode, or how about “calm” mode? Hahaha!

I tried eco mode a couple times. Barely made a dent in mileage and almost put me in a coma because it was so boring to drive

There’s already a “calm” screen in the Bronco and I think that’s dumb AF as it is.

Maybe they should re-name Eco mode to Sport mode as a marketing gimmick.

I just had to Smh and laugh when I seen that calm screen. Figured why not have a calm mode too? Lol
I guess I’m still in experiment stage because I’ve only had this thing a month. Doing my daily commute I’ve just noticed the smoothness of shifting in eco compared to normal. Trust me though, I’ve already had advance Trac off and ripping through the snow in the woods. Love the power and transmission!

I’ve been enjoying ECO mode too during break-in.

Mainly city driving tho.

The tranny shifts smooth for the most part but sometimes it goes too high in gears and bogs down and feels like it’s gonna stall, lol.

Some initial shifts also aren’t the smoothest. But figured with 10 gears that’s kinda to be expected, really think an 8 speed would be fine.
