I have the Eibach Pro 2.0 coil overs with the standard springs. I have not had time to install them yet. I plan to load the rear pretty heavy with gear and supplies for extended remote wilderness trips. I thought if the standard springs in the rear ended up not working well I could just install the HD springs. However, I may have to deal with a not so good ride in the rear when not loaded as stated in the video.

Then, I saw there is an air bag kit for the rear of the Bronco now. I have used assist air springs in my Rangers for for nearly 35 years and that has worked very well for me. That would give me the ability to carry heavier loads with the standard spring and still have the good ride of the standard springs when not loaded. I don't like how the Air Lift bags attach on the Bronco but I think I can make my own mounting brackets.

Thanks for the review, very helpful. Still a toss-up for me Standard or HD, on my 2-door. Summertime I have a RTT and awning all summer, plus camping gear for those trips. With all that I don't think I hit 500lbs. Occasionally I will hitch up the overlanding trailer which is about 100-120lbs tongue weight. Then I get a little squat with the OEM setup. The squat is what I don't like which makes me want to go HD, but the Eibachs are also adjustable which helps. I've also considered coil sumosprings to assist. Still undecided.

I have been reviewing these. There is a review on youtube from stock surplus (I know nothing about them) that reports a problem with wheel dribble when you install 37's. Has anone experienced this? I put a link to their review below.

I haven't experienced this but most everything I do is slow speed.

I got the standard springs, with the Zone UCA's. I left them set from the factory. I'm very happy with the ride on, and off road. My rig is more of a sleeper. Plastic bumpers, stock rims with 295r7018's on them.

When I added a metalcloak front bumper and a 12k badland winch my stock Sasquatch bilsteins would bottom out over the easiest dirt whoops. I went the Eibach Pro with the HD springs. I love the on and off road ride quality. Only thing I added was a drop rear track bar bracket to level the track bar https://fabtechmotorsports.com/product/rear-track-bar-bracket-fts22345/
I got 3"(over SAS) of lift in the front when I first installed them preset from the factory. It has since settled to 2.75" over. I still have plenty of adjustment left if I want to go higher.
One thing you left out is the ability to raise or lower the height of the coilover without removing the shock. You can do it with the simple tool Eibach includes.
My Bronco is a base 4dr Sasquatch with the 2.7

I am on the standard ones and even with full skid plates and a winch up front, it didn't sag really. I loaded it up with 500#'s in the tail and that got about 1.5-2.0 inches of squat, but handled fine.

Nice video as always. Seriously contemplating pulling the trigger on these this fall, although with a 2.3L and a winch, I'm wondering if that'd require the HD springs in front or if that would essentially put me in the weight realm of the 2.7 and make the stock springs OK for my application. Gotta crunch some numbers.

One question with track bar - if I were going with essentially the lowest lift setting on these, do you think I could get away with the stock bar with the relocation bracket?

When you select the shock & coil package on the website, you will select the Bronco set up you have. There's several to choose from. I'd say you are ok with the factory track bar, but if after install the bar is not level, simple but the bracket. Hope this helps!

Installed the HD kit today. Dropped the inner LCA’s on the front versus pulling off the axle nut, etc. I had help from a buddy. I still need to reinstall the engine & trans skid plates, let it settle a bit and then I’ll see where it’s sitting. I did not adjust the preload so these are the factory settings / without 100 lbs of armor. I’ve only driven it about 2 miles so far so ride test / shock behavior is TBD.

The only challenge we had was while attempting to reinstall my JKS lower shock skids, turns out they are not compatible with these shocks…I didn’t even think to check beforehand. Any suggestions for lower rear shock skids that fit these shocks? Cheers

So far so good with the Pro Truck HD kit. I was out of town for a week so I’ve only put about 100 miles on the new shocks so far, all pavement unfortunately.

I posted this in the Rock Jock relocation bracket thread but this is a better location in the forums:

I’ve had a Rock Jock track bar relocation bracket on my workbench all summer. Purchased prior to making the switch to Eibach. TBD if the bracket will contact the frame at full stuff. Other’s have reported no issues yet. This is my track bar now. It definitely improved the rear bump steer.

As it sits out of the box my truck is towering above the 37” tires. Honestly I’m surprised how much preload these Pro Truck 2.0 coils have from the factory. These are the maximums in the instructions.
Ford Bronco Eibach Pro Truck 2.0 Coilovers - My Experience / Review IMG_4627

Max settings: 84mm front / 148mm rear. Out of the box mine were set at 82mm front / 128mm rear. Rough measurements put my front fender flare 7” above the tire and the rear 8”.

My Bronco is a 2D / 37’s lots of armor / winch /plus water / aux fuel / drawer system / cooler full of beers / camping gear / tools / compressor, etc. When Green lady is loaded she’s a bit of a pig.

The ability to adjust the preload in these coils (when installed) and get an HD spring kit from the factory is why I went with Eibach this time around. Hard to see because perspective is misleading but these are my CV’s sitting flat. So they definitely can come down a bit.

I still need to reinstall the RCI LCA armor and order some lower shock skids from DV8. I also spoke to RCI this weekend at the overland Expo. I’m hoping they can send me some measurements to guesstimate if their lower shock skids might fit. Hitting that 350 foot pound torque on the lower shock bolt was a bear, so I don’t want to do it again “twice” if I don’t have to again soon.

wow…long post. 😎

For those running 37’s with these HD shocks how much preload are you running? Cheers.

I noticed these have the coil adjustment from below where others adjust from up top. I wonder what the reasoning behind that design made it to the Eibachs but not other brands in their class.

My race car adjusts from the bottom. So, it seems very normal to me.

I attempted to install the RCI lower shock skids at the same time as my Pro Truck coilovers and I can say that they did NOT fit. the Skid contacted the bottom of the shock and wouldn't position properly to match the alignment that RCI shows in their instructions.

Ah, bummer. Thanks for the confirmation.
