Cool will ot work on 110/20v?
Seems like tje owners manual says 220/30v confusing
I went and looked up the owner's manual, and it looks like you are correct, it says 220V.
However, it also says it uses about 1kWh per hour, or 1kW on average. A standard 10-amp 110V circuit should be able to deliver that power.

Also, this image from Stackexchange shows that it is definitely a 110V plug, not any of the 240 only designs.

EDIT: Being the inquisitive idiot that I am, and with the engine still warm-ish from my lunch run, I took an ohm-meter to it. ~35 ohms, which would draw about 3.1 amps or about 350W on 110V.

Maybe tonight after it has cooled down I'll take another reading to see what peak current would be.

Thank you!!! I have to say, I hate that location. I live in northern Wisconsin and will be plugging in my Bronco for 4-5 months each year. Having to open the hood seems so inconvenient. Thanks, again.
Run and zip tie a short extension cord from front of grill to the plug. Also tape the block heater plug/extension cord connection and get a cover for the plug end of the extension cord sticking out of the front grill.

Thanks. I'll probably do something just like this.

Just wrap your extension cord around your side mirrors, that's how people in Manitoba do it... because it gets so cold there that there are block heater plugs at most office parking lots.

(I wish I were kidding)

Thanks for the pic @jwoobs

So, this is strange. I called the dealer this afternoon to get one of these ordered so I can get it installed when I bring it in for an oil change in a couple of weeks. He ran my VIN and stated that it should already be installed. Just checked - it's not there. Or at least the cord isn't. Parts Salesman said perhaps I just need the cord. So, I need to get under the truck and see if I see the heater itself plugged into the block. Wouldn't that be strange?

Is this a Factory installed upgrade or DIO? Do you know @flip

If it was on the original order - would it be on the window sticker?

So, why/how is this thing $100 when ordered with your build, but $350 when ordered from parts counter?

GJ7Z-6A051-B - $115
MB3Z-6B018-C - $240

I've learned the parts department charges a lot more parts. The brush bar is $300 as an option but $500 when ordered over the counter. Floor mats are the same way. I used Ford Points to buy them and they were $30 more at the dealer.

Mounted up inside the pass. side fender, right behind and above the headlight.

Standard 3-prong.

There is a rubber cap that is attached to protect the plug from spray and stuff. you can see it hanging down in this photo.

Thanks so much! My online Bronco manual was not helpful.

There's no exterior plug with how it comes from the factory.

What do you mean? Factory comes with those two parts. The heater and cord. Plug just hangs under the hood.

I plan on mounting it to the bumper with a Noco Port Plug.

What engine is this for? It doesn't look like the 2.7 in my Bronco.
