Has anyone built a bracket for this Bronco.
I have the fabricating means available, just looking for ideas.
Blue ox has a bracket, but it replaces the tow recovery hooks, which I would like to keep.

Good luck to you. I have the Blue Ox bases, first they are expensive and you lose your hooks. The BO bases are attached with 4 bolts and are he'll for stout. Having the skills you good add a recovery hook to them. I added some up high that I'm not that confident in.

@dgorsett How in the world did you add those recovery points???
I want to learn from what you did.

I built brackets out of 2x2 box iron with bolt/weld on shackle mounts from Amazon. Bolted on using 2 bumper bolts, cut opening in plastic trim. I have enough confidence to use them myself but not enough to recommend to others.
In the future I may add something to the BlueOx bases or maybe by a take off Capable bumper.

@dgorsett Thanks. I can fabricate a little myself. Do you have pictures to inspire the rest of us? Can you share details about what you got from Amazon?

I am going with an LOD Black ops bumper. they are set up to be flat towed and have a winch tray. They also have a true frame tie off and adapters for many of the popular tow bars. When I looked at the cost of baseplate and all of the other stuff. the bumper came out as a better bet.

Smart fellow. By the time I got my bases, hidden winch et al, I'm probably in it for more.
