I haven't had my dog (roughly 70lb Australian shepherd / lab mix) in my Bronco yet, but I like having her go with me as I run around town. I'm debating if it is better to put her in the rear seat with a "hammock" type of pet seat cover, or to just put the seats down and put her in back (with her belted to her harness). On the rear seat seems safer because she would be a little more confined, and she may be able to see better, but seems like it would be hard to get her in through the front door. Getting her in the back would be easy, but I'm worried she is going to slide around too much.
I know every dog and situation will be a little different, and I'll probably end up trying both, but interested in thoughts and opinions.
Thanks
