I’m sure these won’t be hard to fudge

There is also a provision if reservation holders decide against taking delivery due to “customer concerns over quality,” seemingly referring to recent issues with the Bronco’s available hardtop.

at the very least, I hope they follow up with the reservation holder who previously had the order under their name.

Lol. This is starting to make sense. Dealer adds $10k markup. Order holder says f off. "Financing fell through". Now it's on the lot with a 30k markup and dealer is still 100% in compliance.

I would think they'd have to show that financing was actually applied for.

If my dealer tries a $30K markup and I say "F off" he better not run my damn credit.

What a joke. So now dealerships can price 40% of reservation holders out of their order by charging exorbitant ADMs without repercussions instead of 20%. Ford is complicit in this pending sham of a process. Their wink and a nod fence straddling deference to dealerships while pretending to maintain the appearance of fairness and consequences is laughable.

Funny how all the articles about this fail to mention that this is just a watered down version of the old policy. Instead, they’re parading this as a win for customers. 🤦🏻‍♂️

The media is the virus.

I can tell you both of mine had to be appealed. Ordered in my name but purchased by the company so I can use as a demo. While there is a category for this, I still have to appeal and upload supporting docs to show the link between me and the company. This may be the way they can hammer dealers ADMing customers out of their orders. As stated earlier, Ford needs to follow up with the reservation holder to confirm it was an actual "walk away" and not caused by price manipulation.
