Agreed with this im now making payments on a vehicle thats not even close to my driveway. How is this legal?? @Ford Motor Company please fix this ughh.

How are you making payments without a vehicle? They had you sign out the loan prior to build or delivery?

what bank would lend the money with no VIN? they would have no recourse if you defaulted. nothing to repo. they can't take other assets because it's a car loan based on collateral- not sure what kind of loan papers were signed

I feel for people who are depending on this as their primary vehicle. I waited on mine for 15 months, but I had a clunker to drive while I waited. Once I worked through my aggravation, I settled in and saved every penny like a squirrel getting ready for winter. I was able to make a huge dent in the cost. There’s always a silver lining. The anticipation, while maddening, made the delivery all the sweeter.

This is my plan, I’m putting a deposit down to be on order list when banks open for $250 next week. I know it’s a long ways off but plan to pay off current car and to save as much as I can towards down payment for whenever it comes.

Basically my biggest fear since getting a 5/30 build date is they were just placating us early reservations with a build date to shut us the fuck up knowing we're just going to become the new dirt mountain squad while they ship out everything else. As always, time will tell.

The problem is - it doesn't get much better from @Ford Motor Company once your Bronco actually arrives.

After elevating my concerns to the GM, the dealership finally spoke to @Ford Motor Company regarding my wavy doors. Ford acknowledged that the doors are not right but they are only willing to authorize the use of filler and paint blending to remediate an issue that is due to their total shit manufacturing and quality control.

@Ford Motor Company - FILLER - FOR A VEHICLE WITH 75 MILES ON IT (AT REPORTED DAMAGE - MANUFACTURING WHAT THE F*CK EVER)?!?!

You're the absolute best, @Ford Motor Company - thanks for always being there for your customers. I'm so happy I waited 3 extra months for my bronco so you guys made sure it was "just perfect"

Mine was delivered and needs a new dashboard right speaker, driver side window due to hairline crack, and new back rear window (hard top). I'm nervous the dealer will never get the parts to fix the manufacturing defects.

Ford will not tell the truth, the truth is they have no F’ing clue when the chips needed to complete and begin builds will come from...for every vehicle they produce. Ford does not want the stock to tank, that’s all they give a sh!t about.

wife has a base sas ordered in 21, had to make it 22 and I’m sure will soon make it a 23. We also have a Raptor ordered which Ford stated all would be delivered by end of summer(lol). Even though we used a day one reservation for the raptor we still do not have a build date and I suspect it will be pushed to 23.

Ford could give two f<cks about you or anyone else, as I stated above Ford is protecting their stock price.

This post is so crazy.

obviously the person paying on it thought it was coming and was made to feel comfortable to do it. Live and let live, his money his bronco .

secondly this post is enough to completely scare me away from the Bronco. Doors ruined and they won’t fix etc?

I am waiting on my 60k Bronco and expect it to be immaculate when I get it.

is this post angry outliers and just venting? I assume most have come with no issues.

every car from Mitsubishi to Lamborghini come with a few issues but overall very minimal amount compared to whole run.

this forum starting scare me away from Bronco. I ordered at dealer 1200 miles away and won’t be able deal with any delivery issues. Good thing is it’s Mitchell and I’msure he will get it right if anything is wrong.

I’m going make a post to see if anyone else getting scared off based on the complete horror stories this forum and posts like this make the experience out to be.

For what it’s worth mine is perfect.

Wow. This story is crazy. Making payments on a car that didn’t get delivered?

I have always been a Ford guy. I have owned 2 broncos, 1 escort, 3 explorers, and most recently an Edge sport. I was soooo excited to get a Bronco, but this has been a complete mess. Ford completely botched this entire process.

I needed a vehicle and didn’t want to continue waiting, so I cancelled and tried to get another Explorer. After getting jerked around by dealers, I decided to try something new and ended up buying a Telluride that a dealer offered to me at MSRP. The Telly is actually pretty nice and I am very happy with it so far.

i will probably still pick up a Bronco at some point, but I am going to wait until all this nonsense with Ford ends.

Ok let me preface that I work in the automotive dealership world, I have met to many scumbags to count but…

I’m calling BULLSHIT! No dealer would finance a car that’s not there.

Just for the fun of it let’s say it did happen, that deal would have been in unwound the next day. No owner or manager is gonna risk his franchise for one extra car sale, especially in this market.

Make a call to ABC and I will be waiting to see you on channel 7 eye witness news this evening if there was even a shred of truth.
