@Granger Ford could you sell us the Ford extended warranty at a reduced price? With my Honda there is an out of state dealer that sells the Hondacare extended warranty with a small markup and was half the price of the local dealers. Can you do that?

I have purchased 6 Ford Protect/ESP’s from Flood Ford in the last 15 years. It’s a simple transaction and is automatically registered by VIN in the Ford dealer service system (genuine Ford extended warranty that can be used at any Ford dealer).

Remember the extended warranty starts the day you get it so if you get it day one it’ll be cheaper but it concurrently with the factory warranty. You can get the extended warranty before your factory warranty runs out. Note longer you wait the more expensive the warranty. Iirc they begin to increase after 12k miles.

The fee for purchasing a Ford Protect extended warranty after 12 months or 12,000 miles is $100.

I suggest you get one. I’ve never bought an extended warranty. Never needed one. Bought my first Ford, a 2017 F-150 platinum with max tow. At 61600 miles it needs a new rear end. 5600 dollars. 1600 miles out of warranty. Towed my 4800 pound pout twice, less then 200 miles towing. Never off road. Never had a rear end fail in any truck even with 200k miles. My bronco will have an extended warranty.

Unfortunately I only own 3 of those vehicles with active or expired ESP’s. However, if you decide to sell or trade prior to the ESP expiring, you can either transfer to the purchaser or contact Ford for a pro-rated refund.
