That sucks and sorry to hear about your problem. Looks like (another) potential Dana problem.Dana axles seem to be having some issues in the Bronco.
Keep us posted.

Thanks and will do. I didn't realize there were a few different folks who had posted with similar issues. I think I count 4 other cases? Are there more? Looks like one is actually in my same build week.

That really sucks. I saw your post before you found the leak, but wasn't able to reply right away. I was going to say I would look underneath and also do some specific tests after being un-stuck to see what you need to do to reproduce the problem, but a leak is pretty definitive and the dealer can't claim there isn't anything wrong.

The fact that it was perfect in 2H tells me me something I wish wasn't true. With the problem in the front diff, to not have it in 2H says the front drive shaft and axle shafts aren't turning in 2H. Therefore there is some sort of hub disconnect (or maybe at the diff, but not familiar with that sort of setup) rather than having a live axle where it is connected all the time. I have strong preference for a live axle or manual hubs which I can then lock for the season and have the equivalent of a live axle.

I’m really let down. Had I done something crazy or pulled an @evilletruck (no offense, Bill) I’d be way more okay with this situation.

 :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: No offense taken lol, sorry to hear you are having issues. Interested to hear what Ford says.

It may be limited to the CV axle. The color of your liquid is same/similar as the grease used on the inside CV joint. The outside, which is where our issue was has dark grey grease. There are many reports beginning to surface regarding CV Axle to seated inside the joint. That was the case with my wife's Bad Land. When I pulled the boots there was no circlip or the broke pieces of a clip. I predict a recall in the near future. My question is: Does my new $1,100 replacement have the clip installed.

I Dropped my basesquatch off 2 weeks ago for this issue. The Part is on backorder with no release date. I also had the transfer case leak at the output shaft, that only took a week to fix. Sadly, they still have it to fix water leaks. 13320 miles
