and the Bronco truck and ranger raptor would get the full raptor treatment, fx4 package is not a raptor
There it is. Exactly what I am saying. FX4 on an Expedition is not the same as a FSB or Raptor Expedition.

... Ford doesn't seem to have a problem selling $70-80k Expeditions.. Maybe they don't see a market for $90k Expedition or larger Raptors?
I think there is still some lingering reluctance to step back into the deep end with big SUVs. They got a lot of flack for the first Excursion back when it and the Hummer were discontinued.

Unless its packing a 2-ton battery to make it a behemoth green machine I doubt we'll see those return.
smallest to biggest.
ecosport, escape, baby bronco (will be bigger than an escape smaller than the 3 row edge) Edge, bronco, explorer, expedition....

as for the truck, why is FCA releasing a Dakota when they have the Gladiator. ...
Pretty sure the Edge is bigger by length and width than the Bronco. The fact that it can fit three rows should be a dead giveaway.

As for Gladiator and Dakota ... SFA and IFS serve different segments.

wider yes. And it’s not a big 3rd row let me tell you. WB will be nearly identical on both suvs. The the length will be close. But that’s why they have similar engines, similar size.

plus I don’t think the edge will be around to much longer after the “Maverick Bronco” comes out.
the CD4 platform is SLOWLY dying in favor of the new C2

I love tactical shit, guns etc but advertising it on your car is a bad idea.

A hidden lockbox for the bronco would be instant buy for me with that being said! Gotta put my... fishing pole... somewhere!

Edge doesn't have a 3rd row.

The Chinese model that has 3 rows was lengthened to accommodate the third row.

Still think that the opportunity area showes that there is potential for growth in the Bronco family. And the Conquer slogan “aggressively re-enter the off-road adventure space that we helped create”. I don’t think it is a coincidence that it is right below the two Bronco products. This graphic has been updated since the first time it was presented when the new explore was still covered. Showes that Ford is committed to this expansion of the portfolio.

Side note what is the future on road performance suv they are talking about. Gas version of the Mach-e?

The thing that bugs me about that graphic is how far to the right they have the Baby Bronco and just behind the Bronco.

I apologize. I assumed it was like the Dodge Journey. With both versions available. Either way then I believe the new Maverick will replace the Edge. And I don’t see any reason to fill the gap in between the two

I’m guessing they are talking about the Gt trim of the Mach E. Since the graph is not yet updated.

Yeah. They probably should have included a footnote that the chart was not “drawn to scale”...we’ll see what Ford means by “rugged” and “off-road” here pretty soon. Raptor would be up there closer, but trucks were not included.
Edit- PICKUPS were not included.
