For some updates, you donā€™t see notification of that when you go into the software update pane, as seen on our F-150. Iā€™ll show Bronco later:

I donā€™t have the full screen yet, but had a funny bug yesterday. Hopped in the Bronco and sound only came out of the right speakers lol. I went to the balance in the settings and moved it over to the left and complete silence. I then pulled over and turned the car off and opened the door to turned the system off. Restarted and everything was fine lol

such a random bug šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£šŸ˜‚
You certainly are not alone with that one. My fix is to turn the radio power off via the volume knob and turn it back on. Works like a charm.

It does not, it says "your software is up to date". Very similar to this...

@Ford Motor Company Should we expect this OTA update to work automatically or not? Please explain why some people are getting it and others are not? I am asking for clear, concise communication to lift the cloud of doubt and confusion that has occurred to this point.

Also think about bandwidth and servers. They have to roll it out based on many factors.. plus the ability for you to connect needs to be available too.. who know the reasoning. They pulled it for a long while from the F150 owners..

Understood, but THEY should take a moment to set the correct expectations rather than everyone take a wild guess as to why they have not yet received this update. I had my Bronco in the Ford Dealer this past week for the driveshaft recall and specifically asked the dealer to address this update. They too are uninformed and guessing at what it takes, how long it takes, or what is needed to get it. They also guessed that some date range vehicles might not be eligible for it. I then asked if they specifically knew that as fact, and the answer was, "well, no, but it has happened in the past".
So again, Ford needs to communicate to us, and to their dealers. It's just a constant frustration with information or the lack thereof from Ford.
