For those looking at the Fumoto drain valves I wanted to let yall know the 2.3 requires the recessed drain valve, F107SX. I purchased the F137N and the pan interferes with it seating all the way.

I'm doing my second oil change this week so I'll be putting mine on. This thing is racking up more miles than I planned, lol.I just installed the 107sx on my 2.3L and it looks glorious and holds closed. I forgot to take a pic.
Do you have to or need to use the adaptor on the 107SX for 2.3L?I just installed the 107sx on my 2.3L and it looks glorious and holds closed. I forgot to take a pic.
Just what is in the package.Do you have to or need to use the adaptor on the 107SX for 2.3L?
The thread title is literally that F137 doesn't work, lol. For the 2.3 you have to buy the F107SX. I bought their Drain tube kit too and snake it through the factory bash plate after I enlarged it just a little. This website is incredible....a fountain of information. I discovered Fumoto back in 1984.
So what's the verdict on the best 2.3L fitment? Which drains the oil in the best direction?
1. F107SX ? (1/2" long adapter not needed? No recessed drain hole issue?)
2. Or F137 with the 1/2" long adapter ?
Having recently installed a Fumoto with extension on a Hyundai 1.6T with a recessed situation, based on the Bronco 2.3 videos I've seen, it appears the F137 would work with the 1/2" extension. On Hondas, also with a recessed situation, I went with the SX series. The thread title is literally that F137 doesn't work, lol. For the 2.3 you have to buy the F107SX.
