Garbage: The Molle System For Swing Gate

@Ford Motor Company This is unacceptable quality assurance of Fitment and Product! After removing the plastic on the back swing gate to get ready of installation of the Molle System, The 4 top clips are not aligned with the 4 holes that the instructions say to place the clips into. Then, looking for the bottom clips to secure the Molle panel, thinking that would straighten the top hooks, I noticed the bottom right clip has been shipped to me unthreaded and frayed. Please see the pics below. This does not present well that i spent $87.15 for a broken, misaligned product. I would love to return this product and stay away from the OEM accessories website. Completely disappointing. I had better hopes of quality control.

Sucks dude. Can you just return it??

I mean, it looks like the tops are only a few millimeters off and well the bottom one is just flat out broken (maybe salvageable with high strength stitching). Sorry for your disappointment, but that’s an emotion a lot of us are feeling waiting for this vehicle.

You have a very valid point about many other people still waiting for the vehicle. That was a point of view I did not consider and apologize for.

But, The fact that the clips being a couple of mm off is inexcusable in my eyes, as a civil engineer. And the shipping of a poorly utilized QC standard was the icing on the cake. I’m trying to return the product as we speak. I know I’ll be waiting until after the holiday weekend for returned emails.

Same. I tried propping it up with 3m tape, no good. At least the bags are decent. I now have a @JcrOffroad molle table en route.

Not really seeing the issue with the top clips. If anything that bit of stretch will keep the fabric taught against the tailgate, no?

That's a product that wasn't designed to last longer than it takes to cash your check. I think it's terrible, but a proper product built to last may cost double or triple what you paid.

I have some webbing laying around I think i will try a custom makE will follow up up on this thread i had been considering this fo the gate or the table, might be cool to try to combine both? What do you think

Very pleased with my JCR but one caveat: the 3 slots(ears) on the table MUST fit into the main frame (molle) ; sand them down slightly if you must. Well built and quiet as a church mouse. (Ford accessories for Bronco are unacceptable.)
