Hey guys,

I reserved back in July 2020. The dealer shot me a text back in March but I was still on the fence because money, so I told them I was going to hold off for a bit. They didn't reply.

I'm working on the money thing now and thought I could use some advice from the dealership on how long I can delay ordering (longer is better, I can wait), so I shot them a text about a month ago and got crickets, then I sent an email to their main sales email a couple weeks ago, still crickets. I haven't *called* them yet, but this lack of responsiveness is less than encouraging.

What's the general Bronco6G consensus? How long can I push my reservation out before I place an order? Should I just cancel the reservation, or should I hang onto it? Nothing lists an actual *expiration* date, and Ford's having a heck of a time filling orders right now anyway.

Thanks for anything ya'll have.

Well, you’re not getting Antimatter Blue that’s for sure and it’d probably be a early to mid 23’ if you ordered now

I think your reservation is now locked to the dealer. If you haven't already negotiated a price, they can charge you whatever they want. Ford won't raise MSRP, but your dealer can. You can easily delay order to at least MY2023 if you want.

If you place a new reservation, you won't get the MSRP price protection from Ford, but you can negotiate price and select any dealer. You would go to the end of the line at whatever dealer you select.

Not sure I understand. Why would antimatter blue not be a color option? It's on B&P. Granted B&P isn't perfect, but I wouldn't expect them to show an option there that isn't a thing.

The color is only for MY21 and you not being scheduled for production yet means your not MY21. The color was dropped for MY22 forward.

Honestly it sounds like your dealer took your hastiness as an opportunity to cash in on your reservation. I would be worried they haven't returned multiple communication attempts and ordered your reservation to sell with ADM.

You'd think they would drop it from B&P if it's not a thing anymore. Whatever, the color is moot if the reservation is hosed, which is what I'm most concerned about.

That's what I'm most concerned about. The reservation tracker on Ford doesn't list it as ordered, so I'm not sure but it would *seem* that they have not done anything with it since the reservation/order tracker is still sitting on "Reserved, your dealer will contact you". I'm taking that as a good sign but the silent treatment I'm getting is unnerving. Guess I should just call them.

If it still lists as "Reserved", maybe you can still move your Res timestamp to Granger - I'd give 'em a call and see what they can do for ya -

Sounds like your existing dealer is doin nothin for ya - and for sure you can't do it yourself - I'd give Granger a try -
Well I might be inclined to move dealership but granger is a loooooong way from home. Mostly I am afraid if I order I'll get fast tracked and that might be awkward for me.

Check your Ford account and see if it says "reserved" or "ordered". If it's still a reserve then the dealer hasn't done anything with it and you can either submit an order with said dealer, or call Ford and transfer it to a new dealer. If it's "ordered" then that means the dealer screwed you. You can still call Ford and possibly have your original timestamp transferred to a new dealer.

In any case, you can submit an order and have them give it a "code 99" which tells them "do not build". It gets everything lined out for when you decide that the timing/money is right. Then they can give it a "code 19" and you can be pulled for a build.

It looks like I am just reserved. Code 99 sounds like a great thing for me. Do you know how long they will let me sit as a 99?

I have no idea. I do know that some are staying 99 until the MOD top comes in 2023.

I am so pumped for the MY22 B&P. We should hopefully see some other special editions and I’m curious how they handle the different interior colors and accents in MY22. Hopefully much of the customization won’t be locked to trim level.
