Dealer gave me a rail car # TTGX992393 and said it was on CSX. I tried calling CSX and the system recognize what I am saying and have tried multiple times. Talked to customer service and they said if I didn't have n account they wouldn't help. Anyone have luck tracking via railcar that would lend a hand? Thanks
Can't help with tracking by rail car, however please remember this from the original post:
First and most important. Never talk to live personnel at the railroad! Only use automated phone system. If it attempts to transfer you to a live person please hang up. The railcar information we are provided by is given as a courtesy and if we call live personnel we may lose the access and ability to track.
We don't want to lose the ability to track via the automated systems. Guessing that tracking rail cars can be hit or miss, but the railroads aren't going to want to deal with calls from individuals looking to find their Bronco. Best of luck with your search.

If you are going by rail, it’s more complicated…

First you will need the rail car letters and numbers. It is on the visibility report or DORA which is from the dealership. You MAY be able to get it from the SVT people but they seem often in a cranky mood and may tell you to get it from the dealer.

There are two major rail companies.

CSX is everything east of the mississippi
UP is everything west of the mississippi

But they all start out on CSX so once they have it in their system they will follow it all the way.

So, how do you track your truck on a railcar?

First and most important. Never talk to live personnel at the railroad! Only use automated phone system. If it attempts to transfer you to a live person please hang up. The railcar information we are provided by is given as a courtesy and if we call live personnel we may lose the access and ability to track.

CSX
1. Call the CSX 1-800-235-2352
2. When prompted for location or weight, press "1" on your phone for location.
3. When prompted for the car initials, say CN (or whatever initials you have) then wait for the next prompt.
4. When prompted for the car number, say 907048 (or whatever your number is)
5. When prompted for next car say DONE.
6. That's it; enjoy your updated status report.

Union Pacific
1. Call UP at 1 800 877-5123 1 800 877-5123
2. Follow phone prompts for Trace
3. Say the railcar number complete and clearly. Example CN123456 all together
4. Listen for your update

NS Norfolk Southern
1. Call 800-635-5768
2. Press 2.
3. Press 2.
4. Enter the letters on the numeric keypad then press #. As in: TTGX will be 8849
5. Enter the numbers then press #. It wasn't taking my voice prompts but typing worked.

Please let me know if there are any others and I'll add. That way it'll all be in one place!

I just check on TTGX982305 and got a status that it was in Gibson, In this morning at 6:35am. I did prompt to talk with customer service where I learned it was xfered to IHB Railroad, but their 7 Day Car Trace is down.

I may be a little slow.... but when I go to the Palsapp to track via convoy it asks me for a username and password? I cannot do anything else and it will not allow me to sign up.

Is anyone else having trouble with Ford's order tracking site? It hasn't worked for me for the last couple of days.

OK, I just tried from my work computer, and it loaded as expected. Maybe the site is tired of my asking "Is it here yet?"

I am. I tried multiple browsers and multiple computers in case it was on my end. entering the order # and Vin just returns to the tracking page asking for order # and Vin... :(
I had issues early last week but, later in the week it worked. Maybe delete cookies/ history and try again?

To track on Convoy. go to palsapp.com. Then what you want to do is "Right Click" anywhere on the page and find Inspect Element. Then when the new side window opens. Press "CTRL+F" and type VIN. whenever it pops up with VIN highlighted, look for hidden="hidden" and highlight all of that part just (hidden="hidden"). Then delete that. When you finish that, hit enter and the search box should appear.

I would be saying C..N.. and the prompt goes to "Did you say O, A?"
