Can't help with tracking by rail car, however please remember this from the original post:Dealer gave me a rail car # TTGX992393 and said it was on CSX. I tried calling CSX and the system recognize what I am saying and have tried multiple times. Talked to customer service and they said if I didn't have n account they wouldn't help. Anyone have luck tracking via railcar that would lend a hand? Thanks
We don't want to lose the ability to track via the automated systems. Guessing that tracking rail cars can be hit or miss, but the railroads aren't going to want to deal with calls from individuals looking to find their Bronco. Best of luck with your search.First and most important. Never talk to live personnel at the railroad! Only use automated phone system. If it attempts to transfer you to a live person please hang up. The railcar information we are provided by is given as a courtesy and if we call live personnel we may lose the access and ability to track.
