Hi there. This accelerating concern doesn’t sound like something we want you to experience with your Bronco. Could you please send us a PM with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer? I'd be happy to look into how I can assist you on my end.
Sir I have the same issue. I have a Bronco 2022 Badlands. I would appreciate any help. Hi I have the same issue with by Ford Bronco 2022. My 20 year old son said Mom maybe you are pressing on the gas too hard or fast. I did not notice this the first 3000 miles but after that I did. It happens when I accelerate on the Highway. I drove to New York for my son’s parent weekend at his college. It dod this throughout on 95N and it was scary as it feels like it is going to cut out. It stutters or as someone said, it bucks. I would appreciate where I should take it that can fix it properly. I live in Northern Virginia. Thank you,

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one. It seems to happen at random intervals, in 1st and 2nd gear, when the vehicle is still in its warmup cycle and then goes away. Something needs to be updated in the tune. It is quite annoying to have the vehicle going into a bucking seizure and could be unsafe if it prevents acceleration from a stop in traffic. Hopefully, there will be a TSB reflash available at the dealership soon.

Hi Derek. Can you send us a DM with your VIN and dealership info? I can look into this for you.

I have a 2022 BB with 2.3L & 7M, and it's happened three or four times now where on my first real acceleration of a trip I'll get a handful of engine hesitations in a row. So far the pattern I've been able to see is it's still cool (not cold cold though), I'm on relatively level ground, and I'm at about 2800RPM. I think they've all been in second but not 100% sure about that. I'm also not sure if I'd been in that RPM range before my 1-2 shift.

I'll keep trying to nail down the specific conditions when it happens. Does anyone have any suggestions of what it may be?
Following.... I have the same issue but mine is a BL with automatic.

I’ve noticed this as well. I try to allow the engine to run a bit at initial start up until it comes off of high idle before putting it into gear. I always try to let all of my vehicles run a bit before taking off though🤷🏻‍♂️

I have had this issue on every Ecoboost Ford I've owned. Sucks when you call on the blessed mother of acceleration and she ain't there. Call it turbo lag, dead pedal, whatever it is, it's annoying and can be dangerous. It is as if the the truck doesn't know what to do when the pedal is pressed. Supposedly there is a "fix" for this on other forums, I've tried it on other Ford EB vehicles, didn't work. Vehicles start off great and seem to get worse as they get miles on them, been my experience anyway, others may be different.

It's annoying hey? To clarify, it's come down from high idle every time before I've started out, but is not yet up to full operating temp.

I noticed some kind of hesitation when I took my very first Bronco test drive, which was a 2.3 manual. Don't notice it at all in my 2.3 automatic.

I'm also having this issue with my black diamond 7mt.

Always after first starting up the truck. Always in 2nd gear. It's happened about 5 times while accelerating - the vehicle starts bucking as if I'm alternating between hitting and releasing the gas very quickly. Truck has about 3100 miles on it.

I also get a clunk shifting from 1st to second when the vehicle hasn't warmed up yet.

How warm is the engine when it happens? Is it up to full operating temp yet?

No, if it happens, it's right after start up. The first time shifting into 2nd. So the engine is still cool.

I have almost always let it warm up enough for the idle to come down to 900RPM, but it's rarely up to full temp before I start driving. Every time it's happened to me the engine has been warm but definitely not all the way warm, but I don't know if that's just because of how I usually start it out.

They replaced two coils on my Sport Bronco as they were bad they said. It has 7000 miles in it. They said it was at 50 percent power prior.

It's not even a hard acceleration with no boost showing, and the engine feels like it cuts out for a split second multiple times in a row.

Bucking is right! That's what it feels like.
