Anyone use and have pics of the garage ceiling pully lift? How do you like it. That seems to be my only option due to space. It just looks intimidating to install. I hate having to find ceiling studs.

I plan on rigging something up like this in the coming few weekends. If there isn't a lot of traction on this thread by then, I'll post some pics of my likely shoddy work 😅

I'm assuming the ones for the jeep would work for the Bronco?

I was going to rig up a pulley system but found this on Amazon. Couple of tow straps and it should lift it right off. Plus I won’t have to break my back 😂. And at $80 l I thought that was pretty reasonable for a lift.

They likely would with minimal adjustment/modification. I plan on building one myself w/ wood, cable, pullys and a hoist to save some money.

Does that one come with the hardware to attach it to the ceiling?

I use the same garage ceiling hoist I used for my JK top. I got it on amazon, but they don't seem to be available currently. Zip tied pool noodles to the bottom of the lift. Remove top fastners using handy Bronco tools.. Lower the lift on top, run straps under and snug. Place front panels on top of lift, and crank it up. I use a drill. Removing the top is a one man job.

I set it in the grass next to the driveway lol.
That's trusting of you.

I decided to store my hardtop at Ford. I just ordered a soft top instead :ROFLMAO: But I will likely look into hard top options when there's more on the market.

i have this currently for my JL.. hoping to find some type of adaptation like this that I can use when my Bronco arrives.. works great.. stores above my hood out of the way and is secure.. But i havent seen anything yet. originally bought this for my JK, then had to buy some adaptations for it to fit my JL. (TOPSY products made some great additions) but they dont have anything for Bronco yet..
I suspect i can fabricate some kind or rope/strap system out of the current setup.. but prefer the J Hooks that it uses for security

Harken Hoister is a basic setup that uses ropes it looks like to go under the top.. i'd rather not go that route..

You’ll need some channel and a couple of lags to secure it to the ceiling. I’m going to span it across two of the ceiling joists and lag it down. Should be plenty strong.

Ya I’m waiting too but I’m guessing like two 20’ straps.

If and when I do, I’m storing mine on the floor, back end up, on some cushioned material. Already trying to rearrange floor space in my garage.
