I weighed my Bronco the other night and it surprised me how heavy it has become. Have some heavy parts on mine but a decked out overland rig has got to be pretty high also.

6,080 lbs is where mine sits:
Basesquatch
Soft top
2.7
Auto
Spicer ultimate FDU
Ultimate Dana 60
RCI steel skids
JCR fuel tank skid
Custom tube bumper and Warn 8274
Custom rear tube bumper
Custom frame mounted rock sliders
40s
Turn Offroad spare tire carrier
Few tools
Recovery gear bag
Electrical repair bag
3/4 tank of fuel
Kids car seat
No passengers

Just out of curiosity share yours if you know it

Which engine and trans?

Getting adjustable coils installed today. Hopefully the shop saves the weights for me. Otherwise I'll run it across the truck scale at the office.

Nice lookin' ride. I guess it adds up. I haven't weighed my 2dr BL Sas, but I think it's supposed to be ~4300lbs new, and I thought the 4dr version was ~4700lbs. Does what you list add 1400lbs (if it were a BL Sas)? The added weight from the 40" tires alone is probably 250lbs. Would've been more interesting if you knew the pre-updated weight.

Never weighed it stock but did stumble across someone with my combo who did.

Does that mean you've added ~1250lbs? That seems somewhat reasonable, given that you've added a lot of steel and rubber.

I'd like to get mine weighed before I start putting a bunch of plating and big tires on. Anyone know somewhere in DFW area or in general I could do that?

It's not unreasonable for sure. Just adds up quickly.

It still handles great and has plenty of power.....the 5.38s are helpful in that department along with the Ford Performance tune.

Not a bad thing. Bronco's seem to be better in snow than Wranglers in my experience. 6g's are in the same weight category as f150's.

There are some weight discrepancies listed out there, but by one account the lowest weight Bronco 2-door is 4300lbs, while the most bloated 4-door is 5300lbs.

Keeping in mind those of us who off-road can have a need for heaver skid plates etc, I'm a big fan of keeping a vehicle light as possible. Dang my CJ-5 was only 2500lbs and got me all over Colorado off-roading, camping including with passengers (creative packing for the latter).

Newer vehicles seem on an obesity trend like the USA population, lol.

Need to get mine weighed. My 2 door automatic with the 2.3 is supposed to weigh around 4400 lbs. Trying to keep it under 5000 to tow behind the RV. My spreadsheet says I've added around 110 lbs of stuff, but I probably need to take it up to the truck scale for peace of mind.

4 "healthy" adults would push me to 3/4 ton truck range.🤣

I'd also like to stay below 5k to flat tow, but I'm afraid I'm around 5100. I need to get weighed. I have no excuses, there's a truck scale 50ft outside my office.

Nice! Have to give my son a call - thinking he may have one at work.

Same limits for me, right now I'm claiming blissful ignorance, what I don't know cant hurt me.
