It's not a Bronco.

I'd probably buy a Scout, though, if it was an International Scout, and not. Hyundai Scout or a Toyota Scout.
I was just having some fun since they made the Bronco (Scout) before Ford did. :)

How important is it to you that this is a Ford product? If the Bronco were released exactly as is (same product, same price) by another manufacturer like Toyota, Nissan, or Jeep would you still be as interested?

Of course not- if Ford didn't make it, it wouldn't be a Bronco and I ain't driving no Jeep.....
Now if Navistar brought back the IH Scout I would consider it..........

Now that we know VW is bringing it back, does that change how you feel?

The VW Scout is interesting as a real world test of the hypothetical of this thread.

My previous Ford was a 1997 Explorer XL (great vehicle).
I am not a brand guy, I buy whatever I think I'll like best and vote with my wallet. I would get a Jeep Recon EV instead if it was available. The Bronco is for my wife (as many of them are here) because she found it cute retro like the Fiat 500/mini and I like it because it can tow our boat and be our family trip vehicle.

I like that the Bronco is a Ford but if Chevy had bought back a Blazer that was just like it before Ford did, I would have bought it. I’d also buy a VW made Scout if they do as good of job with the styling as Ford did with the Bronco. Having an electric Scout that got the equivalent of 130mpg would be cool.

Maybe Ford should license production to Honda or Toyota

Four words: Reliable Off-Road Vehicle

I've wanted a Bronco for years, and when FORD announced it was releasing the 6th gen. Bronco I was ecstatic. Had IH announced (or whoever bought the rights) they were reintroducing a new Scout, I'd have been onboard with that as well.

I've been a Ford GUY with 2 old Mustangs, now a Ranger, and a Bronco, but I grew up with my dads early 70's Scout, and love a Scout.

It's the specific vehicle more than the mfgr. for me at least.

Zero. Have two Fords before this and they were both pieces of crap. I love the classic Broncos and am willing to put up with the potential defects.

I would probably say yes…I am a huge Ford guy, but wanted something other than a Wrangler that I could take the doors and roof off of.
