Plan on putting down a chunk to get the payments/ debt load down.
Looking ahead I'm already trying to lighten the fleet some, as it is past time to do so.
Selling my:
06 VTX 1300
96 Vulcan custom painted
78 C10
and this Expy (which the Bronc will replace)
This should allow for a good DP and an epic west coast adventure with it with what I have saved up plus selling all of these.
It would be nice to take this trip, take a good 2 weeks to do it, and not worry at any point about how much something costs. Plus I want to outfit my WT with several add-ons so I want to offset that cost some.

I'm buying $50k in lotto tickets to win the $55k cash needed for the down payment.

Silly poll, doesn't even have my situation as a choice.
Good plan, very solid thought process behind this. I hope you don’t mind if I steal your plan/idea.

Sure, we can run odds on who gets the $55k fist by using Pick 4 vs Pick 6.

I hate car payments but for me it depends on whether or not Ford offers a 1.9% or lower financing option. If they do, I'll probably finance around half and leave my money invested (and hopefully growing much more than 1.9%).

My car is paid off so putting what I had been paying away into an account. Trying to throw another $100 a week or so at it too. Between my trade and cash I'd like to be around $20k-ish or ~40% down.

Will either sell or trade in the '15 RAV4 depending on what the dealer offers for it. If I we can get less than 3% financing we will finance as much as possible with as little down as possible. Otherwise pay cash.

My '06 Pathfinder is long since paid for, and the '15 Mazda 6 will be in a few months. Not trading in either - will probably be donating the Pathfinder to someone in the family that needs a car. I'm keeping the Bronco pretty simple, and using X-Plan so looking at around $37K for the 4d Big Bend. Only option I might go for is the MIC hardtop if it's really only $700. That said, shooting for a down payment around 10k to keep the payments in the same ballpark as the Mazda.

Have bought our last two cars cash, this one will be the same, but I never tell the dealer until the deal is made as they will up price if you tell them its a cash deal.

Who knows, Ask Who. Ford has only agreed to take $100 of mine so far.

Cashier's check usually has no issues. Please take a suitcase and pay in 1s for our entertainment lol. @NayNay has probably seen it all.

PLEASE do not pay in singles or change! I have dealt with both and I promise you if you bring me rolled coins you'll need a sleeping bag cuz i will take at least an entire night counting and recounting hahahahaha.... also a dealership can take a regular check or a cashiers check.
