It probably evens out somehow. You may pay more property tax or just generally lower wages vs a place like CA.

The one thing I wouldn't be able to stand are there are a few states (I think CT and maybe VA?) Where you pay property tax on the value of the car EVERY YEAR. That's insane to me.

$42k for a 2drbasemansquatch. I‘m not paying more than that for a 4x4. For $60k+, I’m buying a car that looks good, goes fast and can haul through the twisties without flipping over like a cube on wheels. Love the Bronco but not as my only vehicle and not for over $40k.

Doesn’t this survey need to be stratified by trim level since that can vary wildly? I have a Badlands w/ Sasquatch and all the options. My out the door price was invoice + $50 + $299 doc fee, so I suspect my Badlands cost less than some people paid at a lower trim level.
