Very cool! But is anyone else slightly worried that modularity and water (rain) might not be the best partners? I like to be dry when I drive, and I'm not super fond of mold. 😜
Not here in northern New York. I love that I can pull fenders and quarters to wash the salt off in the winter.

Very very cool. It’s apparent that there was a lot of engineering put into these features, which bodes well for the longevity of Bronco.

Not me. I love that we can pull fenders and quarters to wash out all the road salt. Extend the life of the body.

Seeing how easily they were designed to be tinkered with also gives me hope on just how fast they'll be able to crank them out of the factory. if I can swap a fender at home in 15 minutes with a 10mm (WHERE THE FUCK IS MY 10MM?!) imagine what an assembly line can manage?

If I ever pull my fenders off it’s because they are not going back on. I could see panel fitment being a nightmare upon reassembly to get the gaps right. I would swap them out for squared off wheel wells though.

Also, I think those “doors” on the SEMA build are awesome. If they don’t cost a fortune when somebody decides to make them, I would definitely pick up a set. Gives it a super clean look, in my opinion.

Looks like fun. If only the 2 door backseat was modular.

HMMM how long before we see a 4dr converted to a 2DR from the aftermarket. Rear fender / door as a single fixed panel....

Except for the rear hinges and door sills, the Bronco is a vinyl wrapping dream!

Anyone else see the estimated time for door removal at 2-4 minutes and think "Challenge accepted"?
Shortest time winner gets a pineapple pizza sticker.
On a serious note:
Modularity is good for many reasons:
-Going wheeling somewhere very prone to body damage and don't want to chance it? Leave them behind.
-Want a different style (insert body panel name here)? Swap it out on a lazy Saturday afternoon.
-cleanup after snow/mud/trails once you get home
-Looks mean with all the panels off. One step short of MadMax stylin'
-probably 100 more I'm not even thinking about.
I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the 1/4's come off in one of the videos earlier. And that there is some substantial structure behind there.

Depending on how difficult it actually is, and if they want to tackle the challenge of filling the window gap/modifying the hard top. I bet this will happen fast. I have seen tons of threads on here about people wanting a two door on a four door wheelbase.
