Thank you so much for this. Its exactly the advice I was looking for. Can I ask your opinion on the direction I am going? Im trying to strike the right balance and get the bank for my buck. All in this option will cost me under $500. Is it worth it for example to spend more money and get a better amp? Will the return on that investment be worth it?
This is what I did and how I perceived the changes. I did changes incrementally.

No ACM?

Is it me, or......

2021 with the "High" package (no B&O). See sig line.

When I scan the vehicle with ForScan, I see no ACM module.

Little help?

If you are using an ELM327 adapter you may have to configure it to look at the other CAN network. Sometimes that's a software setting, sometimes that's a little toggle switch on the side.

I'm using the vLinker, no toggle switches.

What modules do you see??? I'm guessing the adapter is only looking at a handful of the CAN networks, but I'll be able to tell based on the modules you see.

And no prob, why I do these videos... even if they are a bit dry and boring at times. (y)

Whelp, I'm stumped.

The APIM and the IPC are on the same network as the ACM... and it reads those just fine... so... disconnect and try again I guess??

I got nothin'

I did a budget upgrade on my 2023 2 door.
For about $300, I got the Fusion amp from eBay, Kicker sub, and 4" Infinity Reference series speakers in dash and rear pods. Also the Metra harness plugs and 600 Hz filters for the dash speakers. It made a big difference in the sound, I'm happy with level of upgrade.
If you want to go to a larger 10" sub or larger rear speakers, an amp will help drive them.

So.... after several "reconnect, disconnect, reboot, reconnect" cycles.... I ended up creating a new profile. ACM shows up.

Haven't proven that the original profile was corrupt, but it works so, all good.

Ah yes. Sounds like Forscan doing Forscan things. Very buggy software.

My polarity is flipped on all 4 speakers and don’t know why.. I followed the wiring diagram from this forum from the head unit to where the speaker ends and it all looks good. I will remove my pac t harness I got from Crutchfield and connect back the oem one to the head unit see if that works. I don’t know if this happened after I did the forscan or if it was already like the from factory. I did a quick fix thru the aftermarket dsp by turning on the 180 button for the polarity change, that fixed the issue but I want to know if I have a problem from the factory or forscan. I will change values on forscan to original and remove t harness to see what happens

Just info I forgot to add my Bronco is a 2022 black diamond base sound…any input on what caused my polarity change would definitely be appreciated. Also I did a back up on forscan just need to figure out how to do it

Can you flip the phase on your DSP or amp?
