Umm are you all saying the car makes noise when you open the door and not just when the lights are on? Cause thats lame and I think I will eventually be figuring out how to get rid of all of that kind of stuff.

That’s one BIG issue with modern cars. The door/seatbelt chime is played threw the speakers rather vs their own speaker in the dash.
Because on my older cars I unplugged that SOB.

Oh the Blinker click is also played threw the speakers now too. It’s no longer a relay clicking in the steering column. It’s all digital.

Just another person looking for a reason to drop out of the reservation pool. Hopefully your res number was ahead of mine.

Actually no. You're taking my complaint too serious.. I drive a Ford work truck at work and I'm just not a fan of the door chime, but it's not enough for me to drop out, actually nothing is. I'll adjust to whatever the B6G is. Also, since you can take the doors off, I'm sure there's a way to turn the chime off... That would be ideal

I've heard that new chime in the Wife's Mustang so much I don't even hear it anymore. Do-de-do....do-de-do.........do-de-do. It was rough at first, I had to have therapy, but I made it through a new man.;):p:D

It's got to be better than the early 80's "The Door is A JAR" WTF was that?

Since all the new Ford's I've driven lately are rental cars, I've unfortunately associated that chime with cheap rental cars.

Other than a piece of plastic in the seatbelt receptacle, is there a way to de-activate the seatbelt warning alarm in the software?
