I don't understand what blend date means. I have a 4 digit order number, a dealer order date and a build date. What's a blend? I've put my money down and am waiting like everyone else....

Idk, Half way past blind date? What does “blend date” mean?
The blend date is when all of the parts are "blended" together to start making the vehicle and the build date is when it's complete
That's it.The blend date is when all of the parts are "blended" together to start making the vehicle and the build date is when it's complete
Because non freaks don’t care? This is internal stuff I’m sure. Makes sense to those building the vehicles. So if "blend" equals "production in work", why not say that, instead of applying a non-intuitive word?
Artificial obfuscation benefits corporations (or anyone really) that want to appear transparent, while divulging as little information as possible. So if "blend" equals "production in work", why not say that, instead of applying a non-intuitive word?
Industry jargon. I'm sure they could have give us a translation guide, but I think they need to focus all efforts on getting us our Broncos. Plus, when was the last time you cared about the blend date of a vehicle you've purchased? So if "blend" equals "production in work", why not say that, instead of applying a non-intuitive word?
Or maybe "WIP date" (*Work in process)? So if "blend" equals "production in work", why not say that, instead of applying a non-intuitive word?
