I’m hoping someone can help me understand what my dealer is telling me.

Two months ago I received a call saying I have a build date for 3/14 but no VIN.

Still there’s no VIN. I have been pre-viewed but not scheduled. I also still have a build date of 3/14.

Is my guy just clueless? I’m certainly confused and I’m hoping one of you cam help me make sense what I’m being told. Until I received that build week call I was perfectly content with the idea that I would be late 22 or even 23. Hell, even if I had a vin I wouldn’t be expecting an “on-time” build date. I’m just looking for some sort of clarity.

First your build gets previewed. If Ford has everything then your build can get scheduled. Sounds like you have the first part but not the second.

Call Ford’s Hotline and ask for a Bronco Support Specialist. If you have a VIN, they should be able to supply it.

You can try calling Ford. That's how I got my VIN. 800-334-4375.

Prepare to wait for a half hour. Also, prepare to try more than once. A regular customer service rep can't help. You need to get someone from the Bronco program. Say Bronco when prompted. If the rep doesn't verify you, you likely have a regular customer agent, not Bronco. Have your order handy because they may ask for info from the order the dealer gave you.

I'm in preview status as well, but no build date or VIN. I was told preview is good, as the next step is build and VIN, but not there yet. I'd say he got your hopes up and trying to read your reaction?

I was checking to see if you got your build date or VIN. I received a note from my dealer on Friday that I was previewed. How long after preview does it take to find out whether you get a build date or not? How long do I wait before I start calling my dealer/Ford again??

I have no idea when I went into preview status. All I know is I received an email with a build date of the week of April 25th and that had a VIN included.

It seems a bit early to be previewing. Scheduling takes place on Thursdays, it has already been released that no scheduling will take place this coming Thursday. Keep an eye on the Forum in Friday's as that is when it is posted if scheduling will occur the following Thursday. The next scheduling Thursday is when you will want to call your dealer.
