I've looked all over and I can't find video or data demonstrating this. Has someone published 0-30mph times or a 5-60mph time that would negate the brake-torque launch? How can someone quantitatively demonstrate this advantage?
It's an off-roader, for which I don't care about 0-30mph times or a 5-60mph times in the least, that is what this is for.

I'm just brainstorming a way to demonstrate with actual numbers (and not just feelings) the impact of power production between 1000rpm and 2000rpm, which I am repeatedly told is ABSOLUTELY 100% VITAL TO STEPPING FOOT OFFROAD. But no one has been able to show me any measurable difference.

Honestly, some of the things that Fiat is touting as "advantages" are actually disfavorable, in my opinion.

The fact that The mirrors stay with the doors is NOT an advantage. It forces you to buy an additional relocation kit, or different mirrors if you want to actually legally drive your Jeep with the doors off. I'm willing to bet, that in newer iterations of the Wrangler, they put the mirrors on the body! Mark my word!

muh front axle
muh mirrors
muh 80,000 dollar v8 concept that wont exist

ya they are in huge trouble. However if the people who run the company are smart its time they redesign the jeep from the ground up to compete. The jeep is severely underpowered. So much so the bronco is stomping their brains out.

if they want to mess with ford they will have a 400+ mile , new electric wrangler with solid state batteries that charge in 5 minutes and dont catch on fire. however i dont think fiat is capable of any of these things. Ford might kill FCA with the bronco because the wrangler basically keeps them afloat
Asphinchter says what? 😂

Bronco at a glance: can’t get in two door or with hard top
Have to wait many months for a VIN and many more for production

Jeep advantages: all body styles and a tops on the lot today
Order and you’ll have your VIN next week and your Jeep in six weeks.

😞

They won’t be nervous until Ford can actually produce them 🤷🏻‍♂️
