I apologize if there’s a post on this already (there probably is), but I’m anticipating my truck in September or October and I’m wondering what the gen pop here thinks are the most important/popular/needed items or accessories to have ready once I take delivery. I’ve seen a lot on screen protectors, rope door handles, dash mounts, etc.

For context, my build is an OBX Sas MIC 4dr 2.7 High

So let’s hear it. What did you buy before you got your ride?

Also, I’m prepared for any newbie/rookie memes you want to throw my way.

Quality, weather-proof floor mats.

I went with WeatherTech because they are made in USA, very happy with them and they fit well. There are plenty of options out there.

Mudflaps. SAS will throw rocks at your doors. I have nicks from the first 400 miles.

hood deflector. I don’t have one and have a nice rock chip already.

download the ford pass app.

I bought mats for the rear cargo and seat backs to prevent mud/liquid/damage when hauling stuff.

I bought rope handles to make it easier to get into and out of, and maybe reducewear on the seat from sliding out.

If you don't already have some gear in your truck to move to the Bronco...Quality recovery gear, winch, and a decent mounted fire extinguisher. I also enjoy using a mounted inverter.
Interior lighting upgrades are a must.
Have fun modifying for your specific intended uses. Does not matter what others think - Do it your way.

EVERYTHING and ANYTHING that you can hide from your wife!!!!:ROFLMAO:
Seriously, I had 2 years waiting on my Bronco. During that 2 years I bought everything I wanted for my planned build up. Lights, light bar, steps, flaps, wheels, tires...all kinds of stuff. It gave me time to; look for sales, spread out the cost, watch install videos, custom paint brackets and parts. When the Bronco came I had probably 6 weeks worth of work in installing. Because I watched those install videos over and over....it was done in 3 days! This all helped me cope with the.....waiting. So buy anything you want and can afford. I would be careful not to order things year specific in case you get pushed out to a newer year on the Bronco. When the packages come; inspect that all parts are there and no damage. Go wild!

Something that I don’t see many talk about but extremely useful when wiring. Fuse Panel Identification decals for under the hood and under the steering wheel. Ford chose not to install them from the factory. I purchased these from Strickerfab.

If you plan on working on it yourself make sure you have a decent set of tools ahead of time will save a lot of frustration( I never had a trim tool before the Bronco…) And don’t buy anything with colors until you look at it everyday for a bit.

hood struts, floor mats, and if you need to have a front plate a holder so they don’t drill the trim at the dealer, are all things to get ahead of time too.

I have a 2023 OBX MIC 4 door. I didn’t buy anything in advance, but the first change I made was to replace the speakers.
I can't wait to buy new speakers (and subwoofer) for my Bronco but it's going to have to wait. It's going to be 1500+ dollars.

A fire extinguisher mount is not something I had thought it. Thanks.
