January B&P Updates to bring more Accessories

Don't get your hopes up for a lot of additional accessories on B&P. The vast majority of the 200(?)accessories will be DIO and in the dealer order books. The factory options will remain limited in order to streamline production.

Man, what I wouldn't give to see this “dealer order book.”

It would be nice if they clearly identified any feature or accessory that would result in "late availability"

Personally I don't want to see a bunch of stuff added That unknowingly would cause extra delays in my order... like adding Painted Tops or dual Tops back to the B&P.

Pass points can't be redeemed until after delivery. So maybe hold off on a late availability accessory. My nearest ford parts dealer is a 3 hour drive away. Probably will use mine for a mesh top since it's not something I'll need to have day 1.

I’m loving the mesh top too. But after seeing the canvas one on the 2 door I may need to plug both.

Do we know if the accessory prices will be universal across the country or if they will be dealer dependent?

For example I just ordered some parts for my mustang from a local dealer. If I had ordered the same parts from another dealer only a few miles away they were about 10% more

You are completely correct, with Ford continually moving the goalpost whatever was true yesterday is no longer true today or tomorrow.
