CR is run by former VP at Ford Foundation, largest contributor to CR is Ford Foundation, and Henry Ford III is siting on Ford Foundation as a Trustee and at the same time a Director at Ford Motor Company Huge conflict of interest or probably just a coincidence haha if you follow the money you see how things are done. another good one is United Way very interesting to follow the money on that oneI never heard that before, what is it based on?
Then why wouldn't you want to watch that episode?thanks I know who he is don't need you to "splain" to me
100% True. The average years of ownership of a vehicle in the USA in 2021 was 14 years. I am sure that is going to go up in '22 / '23 due to the current bubble market. Conversely, I remember my dad had owned EIGHT cars by the time I was in middle school. My oldest son is 11 and he's only known two cars his entire life. He also used to talk about all the cars he had before me. Sounded like a fun time at least LOL.The other point is that today's cars, regardless of brand, are much more reliable and stay on the road longer than the cars I grew up with. Compare the number of probs a 60's car had vs. an 80's car vs. a modern car and you'll see ALL cars are much more reliable statistically. Yes, the older cars were easier to work on. But I'd much rather have a modern ignition system than EVER have to set points with a matchbook ever again.
