Man… I’ve got some FOMO going on in my life. Same build coming my way (except Rapid Red) and all I see is Sasquatch pics… then I see this beauty, and am like hell yeah… that’ll get this sales guy all around town and be able to hit some trails. Build date 11/29 and can’t wait.

I’m 100% team Mach e! It’s such an amazing and well built car.

I’m working on a couple Mach e projects at the moment. Both are hush hush for now. Both will be at SEMA in 22. For this past SEMA I collaborated with Ford on a Mach e for their main hall booth. We partnered with Motion Control Suspension, Rotiform Wheels, Ford, and The Austin Hatcher Foundation. We built the aero for the car and early next year we’ll be running the car at The Bonneville Salt Flats to set some EV records!

We’re taking the fight directly to Tesla!

I've got a Rapid Red Mach E Premium RWD Ext Battery ordered (ordered on 5/3) to go with my loaded Badlands. When I added a separate garage 12 years ago I put in a 100A breaker box so that I'd be set for an electric in the future.
If Ford could get their act together, I'd have both in my driveway by now.

Yesterday I finally took delivery on my Badlands and I am in love!

As we were at the dealer they told my wife about the great lease deal on the Mach E as we were already considering one for her as she has an outback averaging about 23mpg - so she went ahead and put in an order!

Gotta balance out the bad MPG on the bronco with an Electric!

About to have two horses in the garage! Anyone else doing the same?

Not a Mach-E, but my wife just got an Aviator GT (Plug In Hybrid). AWESOME vehicle!!

I want to like the Mach-E, but the charge rate even with a 240V outlet is still really long, and my commute is over 30 miles each way.

We also only have 200A service to the house, so there really isn't room for another 40A breaker on the box.

You can add a 40a breaker to the existing panel. You just can't use more than 200amps at once. You could have a 1000 amps worth of breakers in the panel, just do use more than 200 amps at a time.

Congrats on both! I’m a huge fan of EV’s so I suspect my significant other’s next car will be a Model Y or Mach E. Hopefully the upcoming Biden EV tax credit that passed in the House will make the Mach E a more attractive value than it currently is for you. Not sure if that applies retroactively to purchases made prior to its passing though, maybe check the timing and details of that if you’re interested in the potential savings.
